Chacun clearly not at his best at cheltenham. IMO.
And definitely not suited by the slow gallop, I think they blew the Queen mother by getting lulled into thinking he could do it all ways when he came from a sitting position at Dublin.
I think he needs a strong gallop/pace. No matter what position he's in. Otherwise he may be vulnerable to a horse with a bit more speed.
Fuck knows though how the mare won as she ain't the speediest herself, just gutsy.
Bit Like Altior, who was ridden badly a couple of times at Cheltenham , but got away with it, when a dominant tactic, forcing the pace would probably have made him look like the much better horse he was at the time. I liked how they rode him at Sandown and he just bumped into an improver for the strong gallop also.
