it's a decent price to get 22s TWAR (albeit you don't have the luxury of 365 cash out), considering 25s for the bumper which I had originally backed. Personally, I prefer that route so just cashed out my bumper bet and have reinvested into the TWAR market instead.

I’m surprised that Bet365 aren’t taking a bet then. Very strange as they have all the other early, talking horses listed.

Iberique du Seuil bg Gordon Elliott b1-0-1 (-) 0 (Mikael Seror)
Spanish Moon (Equerry){u}(2.25) 2/2 Defi du Seuil 1st Triumph Hurdle (G1), Cheltenham 2017

Mikael Seror was the source of three juvenile hurdlers last season with two of them being winners. Siroco Jo won at Newbury in March for Paul Nicholls while Heross du Seuil made a winning debut at Kempton for Nicky Henderson. The latter's younger half-brother, Iberique du Seuil is another who started his career with Mikael Seror, although he has moved to Cullentra and is set to carry the colours of Noel and Valerie Moran. Iberique du Seuil had his sole outing in an AQPS flat race at Vichy over 2400 metres at the start of August. Held up fourth of six, he was shaken up to challenge two furlongs out but ran very green when coming under pressure. He soon found his rhythm however, and ran on strongly before being denied by a head at the line. Though it can not be said for certain, he probably would have won the race with the benefit of a few more strides. AQPS flat form used to be more difficult to assess, although the introduction of pattern contests in the sphere has been a useful addition to the program when it comes to evaluating form. This is especially pertinent when it comes to the Vichy contest as the first and third from that race subsequently filled same positions in reverse order in the Group III bumper at the same venue sixteen days later. While French bumper recruits are fairly rare arrivals at Gordon Elliott's, three of his five (Dakota Moirette, Dinaria des Obeaux and Toner d'Oudairies) managed to win as juveniles with each of them earning RPRs exceeding 126 in the process. Although Spanish Moon is capable of producing talented jumpers, he does not have the strongest of records with his juveniles. While dual scorer Grand Roi was one of his four to have raced in Britain and Ireland, his winner to runner rate with three-year-olds in France stands at just 10%. Nevertheless, being a half-brother to Heross du Seuil makes Iberique du Seuil a cousin of another former French bumper horse in 2017 Triumph Hurdle winner Defi du Seuil. Other notable relatives on the damline include the good handicap chaser Caramaran du Seuil (2/1), Reynoldstown winner Jimmy Tennis (3/1) and the versatile and talented Coo Star Sivola at 3/3. While French bumper form will be difficult to compare to the flat or hurdles form bought by other other prospective juvenile hurdlers, Iberique du Seuil would have the strongest credentials insofar as potential, breeding and connections are concerned. There is the possibility that Iberique du Seuil could be much better after his first campaign, but it will still be very interesting to see what he can do this season in the likely event he is sent straight over hurdles.
Entered in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park this weekend.

Yes I asked someone to request 365 add him to the market too, and they declined Jackie.

I like what he did and the cross-form it produced, and specifically that Elliott has him out and ready early, which is confirmation for me that Elliott likes him enough to want to get experience in early and then put him away so he's fresh for the Festival.

Hey Spectre, I noticed he was priced up with WH at 50-1, no cash out there though.

                • I want him with cash out and will take the shorter price with 365 when they price him up SDM. Thanks for flagging though.

Duffle Coat won the race for Gordon last year too.

                      • Iberique Du Seuil seems to be starting early enough, I'm thinking he'll be campaigned as a handicap job for the Boodles myself, and tempted to back the TWAR price prior to debut @ 25/1 which can be boosted.

Obvious issue with the bet is the lack of cash out.

I'm going to make sure he's declared first though.

Thanks BB. He's now in my book.

Blimey, he wasn’t even mentioned until the weekend, still hasn’t run and is now a handicap plot

To be fair it’s not a typical starting point for Gordon so who knows.

I asked B365 to price him up for the Supreme. They refused.

if anyone else can get him priced with any bookie I would be very grateful

                              Hubrisko AKA the next Douvan.
I'm surprised that this horse is still 33/1 when the Supreme looks like his destination. When you take into the fact that connections of Mullins and Rich Ricci won this race with Champayne Fever, Vautour, Douvan and Min (2nd) and with Rich Ricci saying that he looks a very exciting prospect, 33/1 looks a good e/w bet to me.

I'm happy to have Jonbon and Hubrisko both at 33/1 in my book and can see these two right at the top of the market come March. Just holding out to see where Sir Gerhard and Kilcruit go before my last bet in this race.

It's just a default setting when I see Gordon is the trainer

We usually know when Gordon has a real good one though as we either hear about it real early or the money comes, albeit the Triumph market is not even close to being formed yet. Everything else is just a plot job
