Honestly I still can't quite believe how good allaho was

I’ll vote Allaho as his performance was just devastating, but whilst her win wasn’t in the same manner I’m surprised Put The Kettle On didn’t make the shortlist.
Doubted by just about everyone and the 2020
Arkle was largely ridiculed in here for most of the season, her bravery reminded me of some of the guttsiest greats I’ve ever seen in the game...

Feel guilty whichever I vote for, there were so many, really sets up an incredibly exciting 2022. Flooring Porter for me though, went under the radar for some strange reason and held his price right til the off, but they couldn't cope with him. I just have a soft spot for a stayer making all! Allaho a close 2nd for me, I wasn't a fan going into it but it's one of those you have no choice but to doff your cap to, an unreal performance, before the off it was being called one of the trickiest, most competitive of the week, but now the field have been made to look like 2nd tier also rans. Feel a bit sorry for MIn, the history books will say 'Pulled up', but he was the only one who tried to go with.
Massive soft spot for PTKO not on the list, I wasn't disappointed with the Leopardstown run, she's always shone and shown she can do it at Cheltenham, it was only Duc Des G back in Nov but I loved how she did it and in a CC renewal where there were question marks over many including the fav, you never had to worry about her attitude if she was there or thereabouts. So gutsy, absolutely love her.

Allaho for me, to think the race was a head scratcher for most before the off. The way Blackmore was able to take Min out of his comfort zone, and keep up that pace was exceptional for me.

Put The Kettle On was the performance of the week for me, I thought she was awesome. If I had to pick a horse from the list above it would be Honeysuckle, I thought she and Rachel nailed the tactics perfectly and she was a brilliant winner.

....my favourite performance was Galvin who produced a terrific round of jumping under supreme horsemanship, but Allaho was like a Rolls Royce and gets my vote from the list above.

Some superb performances this week but my vote goes to Minella Indo whose preparation wasn’t ideal but came good in the Blue Riband event and put a smile on Jacko’s face. Well done again

I'm not sure you can call it the performance of the week when the handicap was quicker and Monkfish ran the final 2 miles of his race quicker than them as well.

Allaho for me. Feel like we've all known he's a talented horse but he's never quite had his big day in the sunshine. He finally got it this time, trip and tactics were perfect v against a very strong field too. Foot on thier throats from the start and didn't let up

I only saw this after Allaho had won but this clip was taken from an interview early on in the week where Willie was asked about that strange drift on Allaho earlier in the week:

ALLAHO - Pulverised a very good field from start to finish.

Over 8 160+ rated horses up against him.

And 6 of those had to Pull Up. Cos it hurt them that much trying to go with him.

The stable have a brilliant track record of horses running in a similar fashion in this race.
In fact it's often won in this style, with a really attacking ride that just seems to put the race to bed so quickly.

                      Vautour
                      Un De Sceaux

Uxizandre & Cue Card also dominated the race.

And whilst not ever getting a clear lead - Min & Frodon also.

                      It's a Rock & Roll race.

And Cyrname has never gotten the chance.
                        Probably never will now.

minella indo for me as I think the two he beat were better runners up than in any of the other options...genuinely believe a plus tard and al boum ran to exceptionally high level given how far pulled clear and minella looked amazing

Id think al boum photo ran to his normal level but bumped into two better horses than he had been beating

He has always been vulnerable to a genuinely top class performance

                            Percy in the RSA
                            kemboy at punchestown
Then indo and a plus tard this week

Each to their own DS, but to my mind performances should be measured on more than times.
PTKO was guts and determination personified for me...
