A less obvious one, Time To Tinker, is in my tracker from last season.

'Won't be top class but could be smart. Fences, soft ground, and up in trip will bring out the best in him. Will improve stepped up to two and half and then three miles. Get's slightly outpaced over shorter, but runs on strongly. Rather than novice chasing, could use hurdles mark over fences to rack up a series of 1's. Stellar Magic form is of particular note'.

It was just a couple of videos of them popping fences. He wasn't one of the one's out this morning, so he will just be out another time. I'm sure he's chasing along with many more for Nicholls. He'll probably have like 20 plus novice chasers

Am I right in thinking it's been confirmed Aspire Tower is staying over hurdles? Thought I'd read it on here a while back, just seen I have a bet for the Arkle that I can cash out but thought I'd get confirmation first. Cheers

Not 100% confirmed but that's the plan according to Henry. I've cashed out as well and had a speculative bet on him for the Stayers as he is not going to win the Champion Hurdle and the Stayers is the only other race he could take in at the festival if he doesn't skip it completely and wait for the Aintree Hurdle which is a distinct possibility imo

I cashed my Arkle bet a few weeks ago too. I think he'll stick to two miles for the Champion Hurdle as back up to Honeysuckle, and then be stepped up to two and a half for the Aintree Hurdle.

On breeding his stamina would be suspect for three miles. He's also only five and is entitled to improve further again. Given he was a juvenile the previous season (and didn't quite get home in the Triumph), and they tend to struggle in open company the following season, his 4th place last year was an excellent result I thought. If I owned him I'd definitely go back to the Champion Hurdle for another crack this season.

Winnable race or at least one you can pick up good prize money in as the standard of horses in it over the last few years has dipped.

                        • Has willie said anything about James Du Berlais recently?

Thought he ran a belter at punchestown and has a big chance in the marsh or novices chase

I was asking this the other day as there seem to be a massive move on him. Presumed it was from OJA or connections as he was 33/1 for Marsh with 365 I remember as I kept checking the price as was one I wanted to back. Pp had him at 25/1 too.
