  • Going Chasing / Staying Hurdling.

Thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where we can put what the horse is doing when we hear.
    So over to you lot.

There was talk of Honeysuckle going over fences on ITV this morning but I just don't see it. She's just won the Champion Hurdle easily so why change?

Honeysuckle buyer and manager @Pmolony1Peter tells me the plan had originally been to go chasing next year - said “he’d be lying” if the thought of emulating Dawn Run hadn’t crossed his mind, but that there was “so much to consider now” - more on the podcast shortly.

Fury road has just not looked the same horse this season even when he’s won it’s been workmanlike, get him over a fence!

If bob olinger and appreciate it go over fences i can't see a lot else to challenge honeysuckle in the champion hurdle, if she was mine she would stay over hurdles.

With that decision to be taken on honeysuckle there’s to much risk ante post any race would be the play but she would be so short

I'm hoping so, i think he's gonna take some beating, if he does and 7/1 a decent price.

Interesting what they do with Ferny Hollow. You'd think keep him over hurdles assuming he makes a full recovery.

Completely agree with that, was impressive bearing Bob Olinger in November, would like to get onside once there’s some idea of health/target.
