I only had access to a Hills acc for the first time last year so can’t comment on previous years but they allowed any race multiples for about a month, this option disappeared around end April from memory so if you’re considering these my advice would be to get stuck in as soon as they become available...

If i remember correctly they were only allowing one in each section, they had horses in groups like A-F and so on.

I think that was Paddy Power, Hills certainly allowed me several any race doubles and patents until they pulled the plug...

        • In case anyone is interested, Bob O is 20/1 for the RSA with paddy power. Best of 12s elsewhere. It’s a good price to cover that angle for me. Rachel’s comments after Naas allied with Bob O hardly slowing in the Ballymore means I can’t get rid of the feeling he might go here ... despite the Marsh being the far more obvious route.

Right, I’ll stop spamming this thread now

....yep, they did. I think it might have become more flexible for a small window, but there was certainly a restriction between alphabetic sections.

It was hills, I remember doing lucky 15's with 2 or 3 twar horses allowed on them but not being allowed to put more than 1 from any alphabetical group.

Sounds like Hills changed strategy several times last year then.
Word of warning with them, they’re focussing on US operations and may well end up selling off the UK business so could be all change again...

                • I’d be interested to see what prices would be offered for grand paradis - any race or RSA

I hope this is the case because of my 25/1 bet on Appreciate It for the Marsh! I think BO is more likely to go 3m and I'd like to think AI and BO will avoid each other.

                      Bob has loads of speed

Id be very surprised if he ended up in the 3 mile race personally

I agree with that, too speedy for 3 miles, i reckon.

I don’t disagree but he wasn’t stopping in the Ballymore, much will depend on what they believe his long term target will be, if they see him as a future Gold Cup horse they might be swayed to go down the Browns 3m route...

I was hoping they’d stay over hurdles and go for the Champion Hurdle with BO.......so I’m certainly in the speed camp at this stage! I have him in the Marsh; then Appreciate It will depend if Ferny Hollow comes back anywhere near as good/whether they stay over hurdles
