Just horrendous prices now. Any value on big guns, if there even was any, has pretty much gone fully a year out. End of AP betting as we know it. Just glad we made the most of it this year. The industry must be in some mess !!

I certainly won't be placing any
Last year there were 6 or 7 horses i really liked
They all had very high levels of festival form and all had a fairly obvious destination (envoi, shiskin, monkfish, thyme hill, allaho, minella indo and appreciate it)
The only destination that ended up being wrong was AI who I was on for the ballymore and obviously Thyme Hill got injured
All of them bar envoi and shiskin were 10/1 or higher
This year their equivalents are half the price id like to take this far out
The horses at bigger prices im sure there is value somewhere but generally they either need to prove they are good enough or there are several races they could run in so I have no interest in backing them 11 months out
I'd just end up wasting a load of points on non runners and no hopers
Iv backed dusart and had a few doubles on appreciate it (arkle) kilcruit (ballymore) sir gerhard (supreme) allaho (ryanair) Big Bob (marsh) and honeysuckle (champion) with money left over after withdrawals that I would've only wasted on the Martin pipe or something
That'll just have to do me, though I guess we will get chances to get a few win today and Cheltenham 2022 bets on at Aintree and Punchestown
That may be the way to eke a bit of value though I doubt itLast edited by FinalFurlong91; 25 March 2021, 08:39 PM.

...looking like Jonbon runs on Saturday, I’d like to see what’s offered on that in ‘win today & a/r’.
