Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

If you don't think that's useful, fair enough....

Just to back up what I'm saying as well... in another thread, you say:

But if AI did miss the Supreme for some reason then it would have to come under consideration as without AI I think the Supreme is the easier race.
So, is it not sensible for the connections of Escaria Ten not to commit just yet?
If Monkfish is out, people like you, think he's only going Ultima or NH Chase, all I am saying is they are considering this as well....

    • I've just had 8 points back from cashed out bets (Finest Evermore, Echoes In Rain, Simply The Betts, Farouk D'alene), so I've reinvested another 4 points each way on Happygolucky.

      Stake - 50 points
      Win - 695.6 points
      Place - 138.6 points

Todays entries appear to make things a little easier, and Appreciate It's post above #92 confirms suspicion that they think One For The Team is better at a flat track, and they're targeting Huntingdon and then Aintree. No guarantee of course as he still has an entry here, but good to hear that the thought process for him is similar to my own.

Still plenty of competiton in the race, but that news does increase confidence.

Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

      • I've just had an update regarding One For The Team. This is word for word:

'Hello mate, lates on one for the team had an infection in his elbow two weeks ago on antibiotics for a week nothing serious bruv talking to nick Sunday as Huntingdon may come too soon will let u know might be worth a few bob on for the ultima few bookies non runner no bet as prices will shorten once weights come out later this week'

Aside from a shocking lack of punctuation, it appears more likely now that they may send him here. However, this message is worded very differently to the one they sent before his last run at Doncaster and certainly sounding nowhere near as confident for win purposes.

          • I love how people mention the weights being announced.
            Like they're a fucking mystery.

They can be worked out and several are known this year already.
It's not hard to make deducements.

Very unlikely any Irish get dropped from their existing marks. So this provides a good starting point for aces like the plate and Ultima, and Muir.

There will always be one or two surprising looking marks, and the pipe and county aren't easy cos of the sheer numbers of Irish, and novices without marks.

                • Obviously if one or 2 pounds either way is gonna make a difference then fine.

Weights day is interesting though for when they give one or two lenient looking marks.
Hoping that one of them is Gentleman de mee.

I don’t lack the concept thanks as I’ve been lucky enough to be a part owner. The funny thing is that Gordon doesn’t mention in the stable tour the RSA? Me thinks someone maybe adding things on for a feeling of self importance or being in the know
I never said they should commit to any race but that the RSA is the least winnable for Escaria Ten, so please don’t tell me what I mean thanks.

Might be an exercise worth you doing Q, estimating the Irish marks and see how they compare with the marks given by the handicapper.
I think there are always a few curve balls, 3 or 4 who get hammered that raise eyebrows and then a few who get missed who then duly gag up...

The interesting ones we already know though this year.
                        Pretty much know all Gordons.
Willie has barely entered any handicap chasers.
Smaller trainers unlikely to get moved much, I suppose Joseph's grand annual horses may be tricky to mark up,
There are 2 many hurdlers though, and these races are far trickier to narrow down and the markets aren't offering much now either.

Apart from trying to cover Elliots horses in the pipe and one or 2 in the county and coral I've left those races for now.

Do you not think Gentleman de mee will struggle to get in?

So the accusation is that I'm making it up to make myself look good?

If I was making up, what benefit am I getting from it?

More fool me for not thinking the stable tour must be the absolute gospel truth too, it must have been the connections lying now that the stable tour has PROVEN it's not under consideration.
