  • A crumb from Willie in this article for any that have backed the mare.
Owners will have noticed she's now favourite too.

    • This Panic Attack looked very good , but she not for me. Cant believe she number 1 bumper horse in yard , happy to take her on.

Good luck if your on at fancy prices , nice work.

      • Superb performance and the form seems to have some substance to it.

But I couldn't back a 4yo Mare in the Cheltenham bumper, even with the allowances, especially not at 12/1! Fair play to anyone on at fancy prices though.

Don't get that CCM. Cue card won as a 4yo 10 years ago and Blue Sari finished only 1/2l behind the mighty Envoi last year as a 4yo.
Yes I know they were geldings, but on the other side fillies/mares won 2 of the last 3 Runnings.
Blue Sari only had the 1 run before running last year
And 10-4 vs 11-5 is a mighty leveller against the older geldings

Good luck to all on at big prices

I’ve committed the cardinal sin ( never done this before )

Today it was the winning third leg of my Trixie The Good News

            The Bad
I thought I’d bet it for Cheltenham and hadn’t

She was getting the best part of a stone from the second and third today Pendil. Those horses would be lapped at Cheltenham and she will have to face some of the best Bumper horses in England and Ireland on similar terms.

Obviously she could do no more than she did, and I really dont want to crab her because it was a very taking performance. But everything is about price to me and for her to be fav looks an over reaction. The Bumper can be a pretty rough race and the fact some 4 year old geldings have run well and a 5 year old and 6 year old mare have won it recently, still doesn't change my mind that its a huge ask for a 4 year old mare both mentally and physically.

                • I'd agree she has it all to do at her age also CCM.
But I also think she'd beat Israel Champ and still have time to put her knickers back on before he crosses the line.

Thank you for the response CCM and I welcome your expansion on your view. It's a game of opinions, personally go against consensus

Definitely Pendil, wouldn't be much of a forum if we all agreed!

Great news, thanks Jack. Reckon Sun rather that Sat is ground related.

Brilliant, was hoping he’d head for Thurles. You have to stay well to win this race so 2m3f is a perfect sighter.

If he's better than Don't Panic at home then everything else might as well not turn up!!
