    I was the same mate but forgot to check before racing if he was priced up.

      Regarding the Champion Bumper:

      @McNeill_Family:
      "He is eligible but don’t think we will target it."

          He doesn't. I actually backed Sprinter Sacre @ 66/1 for the Bumper before he won his opening race and he wasn't entered too. He duly bolted up next time at Ayr.

          • Interesting bumper entries for Thurles 10th January. Energumene and Power Of Pause

            • Any articles or mentioning of Eric Bloodaxe? Seems to shorten quite a bit. Or just bookies tightning up on a Monday!

              Good to see POP with entry!

                  • Anybody know of the whereabouts of El Barra with Willie? He's just about the only one of his expensive recruits from last season not to see the track yet from what I determine.

                    • Nice to see PP shorten Ferny Hollow back into 16/1. He's become quite a big winner for me.

                      • I'm not really a speed figures man but one of the guys I follow on Twitter likes the Ferny Hollow figures. If you take into account the horses that have beaten him may not go to Cheltenham, he could still one of the best that have been seen.

                          That would be my feeling entirely. Especially when he looks like he's got so much more to come as well. Anything we haven't seen yet may only get one run in before the Festival (Power of Pause could have two if he's out this week I suppose) and the fact FH could go there with 3 runs under his belt is quite a positive to me.

                            Hope he isn't make or break for your week though, a horse in the Bumper with no wins next to his name.

                            I feel like I've jumped on loads of your posts recently CCM, it's not personal I promise

                              That's one of the reasons he annoys me a bit.... being the best by default because better horses aren't running is annoying me.

                              I don't know why really, in other races (like Min in the Ryanair) I use it as a positive

                              • To be fair the winner was given a really smart ride and looked very good value for that 7lb claim so Ferny could easily reverse the form off levels. But Ferny really is going to have to settle better or its curtains.
