Top of the market dominated by the mares.

    Best Prices

    13/8 Benie Des Dieux
    7/2 Honeysuckle
    9/2 Apples Jade
    6/1 Bacardys
    6/1 Penhill
    16/1 Surin
    25/1 David's Charm
    33/1 Killultagh Vic
    33/1 Coko Beach
Would be best Hurdle race of the whole season if they all turned up.

I personally doubt it + Penhill is a definite. You'd imagine Bacardys is also a likely runner having had a run. Penhill has been cut into 6s from 16s too. Small money ofc.

      • Willie Mullins quote today in Racing Post

"Benie Des Dieux definitely runs on Sunday and she is in good order. We have a few in that*– Bacardys, Penhill and Killultagh Vic*– and they could all turn up. Foveros runs in the Royal Bond."
"Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

        • Could be some race Sunday and very informative with the mares in mind. Positive hearing BDD is ready to run as well, hope she comes out on top.

            • Fair play Mr Mullins i suspected it would be left to later in the week to see how they've worked but not complaining!

              • Both Honey and Apples are unbeaten at Fairyhouse in 7 races. One or both of those records will go in the Hattons.

This myth that Mullins doesn't run his horses against each other really does need stamping out.

4 festival winners in the 9 at the 5 day stage... awesome.

                    It’s more Ricci Kev.
For years he would have 2 top prospects beat distance was similar but avoided pitching them against each other, notably the novice year he had Champagne Fever, Ballycasey and one other who was an insane short price for the Ballymore but whose name escapes me...

                        • Better odds about for Honeysuckle if any is wanting to back her- 7/2 available. Think i'll be very much sitting on the fence on the race itself.

                          • Will just sit back and watch the fireworks in the Hattons. This is what racing is all about. Have topped up the Honey/Mares and Benie/Stayers double with Hills as I think Mullins will think about stepping Benie up if she gets beat/outpaced by Honey.

Did you see the mares race last year?? She seemed to be reasonably suited to the test that race offers (until the last hurdle). Shes won every race since shes come over from France that she has stood up in 8 races 7 wins, think we could all be reasonably be sure she would probably of won that chelt race as well. 7 of the those races were at 2m 4f or shorter I accept shes strong at the line but not sure where your evidence to suggest she will get out paced??
