Two stable tours and twice name dropped this race for BDD.
No point wasting time thinking about her in the stayers IMO
If he changes his mind, so be it... but until NRNB there really is no point thinking about her for the Stayers

I tried to tell Jono and other stayers backers a few weeks ago, but the French win seemed to sway them for some reason.
Would need Paisley Park to get injured or not be running for some reason.
And even then Willie would need to feel he has the mares winner with something else.
Willie's been fairly consistent with his super mares, until something falls into place.
Noticed he's talking about Al Boum Photo just running at Tramore again - then Gold cup.
Bit boring, but might give the horse a better chance of retaining.

I really did think Benies win Auteuil would set up a potential crack at the Stayers. Not so much in an early season declaration of targets but with both the Stayers and Mares Hurdle quite often having similar prep races (Hatton's Grace for example) nothing being decided and things kept fairly fluid as it often is with Mullins.
Quite clear that Benie has her sights well and truly set to the Mares though and it'll probably take a right shake up and more than 1 horse to have a setback to change that

it's when the imagination can really kick in.
If the stayers continues to look like Paisley's for the taking, I do think him missing the race is all it may take for BDD to switch though.
And this could even mean Laurina going mares (especially if she has not entirely convinced over fences).

But for falling at the last in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham she would have had a Grade 1 hat-trick last season after subsequently winning at Punchestown and then beating star French mare De Bon Coeur in the French Champion Hurdle. She’s top class and will probably reappear in the Hatton’s Grace at Fairyhouse on December 1. The Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham will again be a target and maybe the French Champion Hurdle again. She’s unbeaten over fences but, while you should never say never, chasing isn’t part of the plan this season.
