  • I really been doubting my main fancy Thyme Hill for this since the trainers comments! He is a stayer to me, but I'll now strongly back Fury Road. He ran 2m 6f and didn't come off the bridle, he jumped his last hurdle like a retard which as a novice it'll happen, but my main concern would be what he can find off the bridle!

    • Well, Monkfish puts down a sizeable marker today for this, unless they were to be brave in the Ballymore.

He’d not have the boot for the Ballymore in my opinion. Looks a nice big stayer and [insert chasing cliche].

Looks absolutely tailor made for the Bartlett, had him on my radar for ages.

He looks like a horse for next year's NH Chase regardless of what he does this season.

Very happy with that, must be a player in this now.

              • Backed Diol Ker at 33-1 for this again today.
The maiden he won has been well franked today by Escaria Ten and Monkfish in a strongly run race for it's type, with plenty pulled up/tailed off who have ran well since.
Diol Ker won it going away and is entitled to improve as much as the placed horses.
                Entered at Dublin.
                Fill your boots.

                • Had a bit on Scampi (Monkfish ) today from last night after reading something on the RP site and after watching thought Spuds race.

                      Had missed this.

                      Fully behind it, excellent case.

                        Well done

Surely the horse that beat him is worth adding too, that Quevega has noted at 33/1?

look at the horse beaten a distance by diol ker and what it did next vs longhouse poet, and who he was half a length behind

Opposites attract finished 82 lengths 4th behind Diol Ker, with Monkfish and Escaria Ten in between. They've won both there next two starts. Opposites finished 3 next time up a couple of lenghts behind Longhouse Poet with Coumn of Fire in between.
Opposites has since won it's maiden.

It was aimed at Morley Street really.
All a bit tenuous as it's early season form, but Diol Ker is also a second season novice and has 7 runs including his points.

Beaten 'a distance' was too hard to work out which one

All good though, you had me at the 7L beating of Monkfish so now I'm thinking this is the best value of the week.
