And the half miles makes no odds as I said earlier, it's definitely not life or death. When it's beat the jockey will mind him then.
One thing I like about the Tizzards is that they run their horses a lot.
It does backfire though, as they tend to end up not being sure what their horse ideally needs sometimes.
And age is not as important as the horses demeanour. This one looks anything but a baby.
The trainer and his lad are just trotting out the usual stuff that trainers say when they have a good horse on their hands.
I should think that was good enough today, to go to trials day now and they'll decide after that run what to do next.
ps,
it was the horse killer comment that TCH came out with that annoyed me.

The AB is a horse killer of a race. Brutal for novices and usually won by a journeyman novice with lots of experience.
If they see him as long term grade 1 beast, give him a crack at the Ballymore and then go RSA next year. Who knows, we might see a lovely 5 yr duel develop between him and EA!

Load of bollocks.
Just a hackneyed cliche being trotted out.
drives me mad hearing people in racing coming out with crap, never mind on here.
And I don't care if it's your opinion. It's still wrong.
Since 2005 when the race was introduced.
The winner of the race has gone on to win more grade ones at the festival in open company than the Ballymore. I'll go through other runners in the two races when I have the time. But Paisley Park springs to mind straightaway.
Bob's Worth, Penhill.

Faugheen
with respect.
Nice and friendly.
Jeez.
Maybe I am wrong. Maybe your tone is too.

I believe there's something in it as well, wouldnt go as far as killing the horse or whatever. Still think there's a certain type of horse for an AB, and it's not just about if they stay the trip or not.Last edited by jack1092; 18 December 2019, 06:38 PM.

Although some opinions are more verifiable by factual evidence than some others.
Some are simply regurgitated myths and cannot withstand comprehensive analysis.
They are also known as bullshit opinions.

The old "will be better on better ground" line.
You don't say Mr Power ! - Thanks for the insight (mind blowing stuff)
2 perfectly decent performances on soft ground and now he wants decent ground.
Almost like they're hinting he'd be champion hurdle class on good ground.
