    • 20/1 on the exchanges looks a cracking bet still, no excuses for the fav there, hes to outstayed him conclusively.

      • Glad lots were on! Let’s hope he comes out the race well and it’s all systems go AB.

I wouldnt go overboard, andy dufresne is unlikely to be a world beater. But the winner has done it well. Far bigger tests ahead. But a nice one to have.

          • "We’ll make a plan*for him now with the aim being Cheltenham. The Albert Bartlett could be the long term*aim. It’s great for myself and Brian. He’s a multiple Grade One winning rider but we all need ammunition." Paul Nolan - Latest Exhibition.

            • Yep, he's pretty much ruled out Naas in January, and namechecked the 2m 6f at Dublin festival then bartlett pretty much.

              • Suggested a 2m 6 at Leopardstown then on to Cheltenham, When asked about 3m he said Absolutely why not?

                  • The natural race for Latest Exhibition now he has won a Grade 2, and is pointing at the Albert Bartlett, is the 2M6F Grade 1 Novice at the Dublin Racing Festival at the end of Jan/early Feb. Good timing with 6 or 7 weeks from today to the race, then 6 weeks to the Bartlett.

I was in a two-horse dilemma watching today with antepost Andy Dufresne at 25/1 for the Ballymore and 66/1 Latest Exhibition for the Bartlett. What result would keep my two bets looking solid? in the end one stood the test and the other didn’t, which is going to happen a lot in the graded races from here to March,

Gordon didn’t think AD ran his race given his other horse was catching up in 3rd at the line. He may have underperformed for a reason, but I have cashed out the AD Ballymore bets that I can, and the rest can roll on in the hope he recovers form.

I was impressed by Latest Exhibition, and managed to price boost him at 80/1 (new offer by Unibet) to add to my 66/1 slip, so more than happy with the winner, and the plan for the season.

                    • Yeah Charlie thanks for the reminder. Backed him a couple days ago @ 66/1 and yesterday @ 6/1 for today. Just watched the replay a few minutes ago and he outstayed and outbattled AD. Interesting run in 3rd by Conflated beaten just under 7l. Not really put into the race but appeared to have closed up 2 to 3l on first 2 from the 2nd last to the line - and they were fighting out a finish. Maybe AB or maybe Martin Pipe!

                      • Conflated maybe one for the handicaps.

                        • Was rushing out before, but wanted to add my thanks to charlie for initially alerting my attention to LE... not that often you back a 66/1 poke for Cheltenham (or me anyway) with a live chance!

Me too, was going to have a top up yesterday when Charlie reposted, but had gone 40s at that point with 365...will top up with a freebie tomorrow. That race worked out nicely as cashed out AD for the Ballymore (full stake) and kudos to Scooby for his thoughts on AD which restrained me from topping up with free bets. Obvs not writing that one off entirely but difficult to see much value in current price

                            • Yes thank you Charlie, I was lucky to get a small stake on 66’s a few weeks ago after your advice.
