The natural race for Latest Exhibition now he has won a Grade 2, and is pointing at the Albert Bartlett, is the 2M6F Grade 1 Novice at the Dublin Racing Festival at the end of Jan/early Feb. Good timing with 6 or 7 weeks from today to the race, then 6 weeks to the Bartlett.
I was in a two-horse dilemma watching today with antepost Andy Dufresne at 25/1 for the Ballymore and 66/1 Latest Exhibition for the Bartlett. What result would keep my two bets looking solid? in the end one stood the test and the other didn’t, which is going to happen a lot in the graded races from here to March,
Gordon didn’t think AD ran his race given his other horse was catching up in 3rd at the line. He may have underperformed for a reason, but I have cashed out the AD Ballymore bets that I can, and the rest can roll on in the hope he recovers form.
I was impressed by Latest Exhibition, and managed to price boost him at 80/1 (new offer by Unibet) to add to my 66/1 slip, so more than happy with the winner, and the plan for the season."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Yeah Charlie thanks for the reminder. Backed him a couple days ago @ 66/1 and yesterday @ 6/1 for today. Just watched the replay a few minutes ago and he outstayed and outbattled AD. Interesting run in 3rd by Conflated beaten just under 7l. Not really put into the race but appeared to have closed up 2 to 3l on first 2 from the 2nd last to the line - and they were fighting out a finish. Maybe AB or maybe Martin Pipe!
