Interviewed Emma lavelle afterwards who said he will be a chaser in the making but could possibly be good enough to make cheltenham. Paisley obviously went onto better things after running the same race.

Would have been more reassuming re: the festival target had he taken up the entry at Punchestown but this will be a good test up against Colreevy. The ground should ensure somewhat of a test of stamina. Good prep run anyway before the Navan Novice Hurdle in 4 weeks.

Definitely has, given the quite expensive purchase from p2p. Possibly because he’s not with the big 4 trainers? Really liked the performance, the ground looked really testing at Exeter. Albert Bartlett is a proper test, usually takes a tough horse to make the frame with plenty runs under their belt. Last year a bit against that I suppose.

Have had a small eachway investment in Blue Sari for this at 33/1. So many of Willie's end up here and if he bolts in over 2m4 tomorrow he will surely shorten - even though WPM will no doubt say he wouldn't be afraid to drop him back in trip! Part of the thinking is also that he's always been regarded as being a potentially strong stayer and JP and Willie will probably have several options for the shorter races. Not a race I would normally look to get involved with at such an early stage but just have the feeling I may regret not doing so.
