Lucky One entered up.... probably should put this in the Supreme thread but he's in my ante post list (any race) in the Ballymore section so here will do for now.

Down Royal race hasn't been won by anything useful.
Limerick i can't find previous winners.

Generally ain't a positive when mullins sends a newcomer up north at all. So hoping he doesn't bring him up here.

I noticed it in Sky RAB recently 5/1 to place any race, if I'm honest I didn't know anything about it and thought was maybe gonna pop up in a handicap or something soon. Now 2/1 for anyone interested!

Watched the race this morning, very impressive IMO and form lines look good. Can’t believe he is still 25s and need some cover in this race so added each-way.

I posted the below on the Coral Cup thread. I think he’ll be fine.

“Protektorat runs in the Grade 2 Novices’ Hurdle (3:00). He won a Listed race last time. There are some good horses in this race and it represents a significant step up for him.

It will tell us where our future lies as a novice hurdler this year. If he were to win this we would go for the Ballymore and if he doesn’t, we are looking at the Coral Cup.”

I’m glad a couple of decent horses stood their ground after The Big Breakaway was pulled from tomorrow’s trial. There is still a good chance Protektorat will get beaten and head down this route. I’d imagine his current mark of 139 would not change in defeat and that’s perfect.

Pretty bad ride on Roland though.
Up the straight he seemed unaware of the left hand side and although he came off the bridle a couple of times, he chilled out again once he rode him to get back on it.
