Had been given an RPR of 150, 2 short of Envoi Allen and Thyme Hill if he comes for the Ballymore, and 3lb and 2lb higher than Mullins shortest priced runners in the Ballymore - Easywork and Elixir D’Ainay.

I’ve had half a point at 33/1 that he comes here.

WPM probably won’t decide until the week of the race, and the others may go elsewhere too, or underperform on their next runs. All to play for when picking Willies novices.
He will 100% got Albert Bartlett and be a huge player. It’s looking like a really good race aswell. Gordon trains Easywork by the way but I know what you mean Saxon.

That’s even better Phil, Monkfish already better rating that Elixir D’Ainay and Mullins bound to have a couple of darts at the Ballymore at least.

I have Mullins with Lord Royal and The Big Getaway in mind as two for him with good chances in the Bartlett only, and when push comes to shove with the final decs, I don’t see him overloading the Bartlett and leaving the Ballymore a bit empty, so one of these three could switch and my assessment is Monkfish would be the one.

Think he will have Asterion Forlonge and Elixir Dainay for this. As you said previously Mullins Bingo which he plays every single year. Just always fun trying to second guess him.

AF is a good shout for one slot here, Elixir D could be in any one of four races including the handicaps.

          • Surprised The Big Breakaway isn’t entered for Chelts on Saturday. Anyone got anything on this as I thought that was the plan.

Was also hoping Chantry House would go. Is he sticking to 2m?

It was definitely the plan for The Big Breakaway a few weeks back. Course experience would have been useful but maybe they want to keep it more low key or head straight to the festival. Given the interview with Tizzard Jr, all is well but I guess they've changed the plan.

I would have liked to have seen him but not surprised as I'm not sure Cheltenham re Cheltenham was ever the plan. Quite a few of us on though.

Chantry House is a question mark at this stage. To my eye he would be better suited here than supreme, and unlike Shishkin (who Nicky said he will be separated from) he has entries over 2m, 2m5f and 3m, whereas Shishkin is only entered here and supreme. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if both go supreme to avoid EA and to give NH more of a chance of winning it. He often sends more than one so it would make sense.

Thanks Jackie, I didn't know that was part of their plan but makes sense.

                  • Sporting John with an entry for trials day & priced up as fav. Can’t see the remaining 33s being around much longer - given some of those priced bigger for Saturday are shorter for this in the ante-post market.

Yep took the 33’s already. Have him at bigger for the Supreme, but if this is his next run then I would expect him to win and be less than half the 33/1 afterwards.

Wouldn't be certain he'd beat King Roland!

Nothing is certain, it’s jump racing. Just the way I’m leaning on the potential winner of this.

                            • The Big Breakaway will miss an intended outing at Cheltenham this weekend due to a minor setback.

"We've got no plan at the moment as he just banged a joint and it went a bit big... We'll play it by ear and see what's about before Cheltenham."

Thanks Muswell. Whilst far from ideal doesn't sound too serious

                              • Was just about to post something about The Big Breakaway.

Doesn’t sound serious as they seem to already be looking for an alternative to Cheltenham this weekend already, to fit in before the festival.
