  • Nicky said after last run he will be sticking to 2m and even thou he had a host of 2m3/4f entries i would hoipe it's supreme bound if winning.

As a side note when do P/P do there specials on a horse to win a race like the tolworth then a race at the fez is it on the day, anyone?

I think the form with Edwardstone is very solid and he'll be one to keep improving as the season goes on.

Anyone any thoughts on the Tolworth tomorrow?

I think its a fascinating race and the more i look through form, the depth and chances is far from a one horse race. I have Fiddlerontheroof in the book already TWAR, wouldnt mind adding one more out of Son of Camas and Hang in there..But realistically at this stage I need to be cutting not adding, especially at Ante Post. But think Hang in there is less likely to come here, but any of the 3 most likely be a supreme candidate.

Jeremys Flame was behind Daylight Katie when i was at down royal but to be honest I cant remember it, would need to rewatch, but Davy had a scare and done well to stay on her and think in end won handy enough despite that. Suppose if did win would boost Dk form for mares novice?

Yeah after 10am from what I've seen

        • Had a top up on Envoi Allen ahead of tomorrow; it’s by far the best novice race (on paper) we’ve seen so far this season and if he wins as I expect it will be the last time we see odds against for March

          • Anyone of the view that Abacadabras might beat Envoi Allen in a rematch (were it ever to happen)?

That was my feeling after the Royal Bond and makes me think Envoi Allen isn’t as bullet proof as his price (both tomorrow and for Cheltenham) suggests? Interesting race tomorrow!

I don't see how Abacadabras would turn the form around. Beaten fair and square over two miles in the Royal Bond and the further EA goes, the better he'll be imo. It's a moot point anyway, as I doubt they'll ever face each other again.

Robbie Power agrees with you. He's just said the same. Very soft ground on first day it'll probably be Supreme. If it dried up then Ballymore the target. Think Power will be huge influence where Tizzards go. Decent ground then Master Debonair goes Supreme, Fiddler comes here and TBB Albert. Simples.

Nope, I cannot see that happening at all.

Trying to find chinks in Envoi is impossible to me. I don’t see anything on their runnings to suggest a reversal of the placings. I think if anything is to beat Envoi Allen it’ll be something Mullins has which we haven’t seen yet but this is becoming increasingly unlikely

If mullins has something to beat EA. Over 2 1/2 he's likely running today. Elixir d'ainay is considerably under rated IMO. And I know they think a hell of a lot of him. IF hes beaten 2 or 3L by EA today, its possible hes re routed. And there would be no reason why BOTH, cant win at the festival IMO.

Same for EA, the form book says he wins, but in the scenario where elixir won. You'd surely drop him back to the supreme.

                      • If you wanted to be optimistic on a mullins one for this. They've been waiting on running lord royal, who was balloted out last time and is entered up again, where hes now due to get a run. Maybe a big ask to beat EA.

My bets are edged this way, based on a similar thought process, with potentially longhouse poet also improving alongside.
Envoi Allen should win, but this is a different test against different form lines.

Another massive bridge crossed if he beats them with ease and then it's really just the british challenge to bother him, and they all look like they'd need it to come up soft to get near him.

I think Gordon might go straight to cheltenham with him after today, although if he runs again it would be likely over 2 miles again at Dublin, so he may run there especially if it don't go smoothly today.

Mentioned elsewhere but if Nick Goff is to be believed and ive no reason to doubt him, as he put up fiddler at 50/1 on his podcast, after speaking to the owners and them saying he would go for the Supreme, sounds like their money is down at 100/1 on him running here. Maybe they have also backed him ballymore (that was not stated) but youd have to say he will run here if they have there money down at 100/1
