    • Gordon Elliott isn’t looking to step up in trip anytime soon after Envoi Allen’s win over 2M today. He said he had plenty of speed and the Royal Bond is next. Anyone who is deep on EA in this race ought to think about a covering bet on the a Supreme.

I've got Envoi Allen on side but really don't see him turning up in a supreme.

We've heard it all before. If you want to cover that's fine, but theres no way hed still be 20s with the yard sponsor if it was at all likely

U can look at it both ways. (ignoring the final result obviously)
                1. The samcro way.
                2. The apples Jade way.

They changed there mind under pressure with AJ. I dont think they expected her to win like that. Its Not liked they'd all piled in to the mares.

Theres no difference in winning a supreme or a ballymore in terms of prestige.

                  • no. agreed.
But Gordon and Cheveley will ultimately run him in the race they think he has the best chance of winning, based on the races, there other options and opposition performances between now and March, and decide nearer the time.
PP can adjust for any liabilities anyway.
The money in the book now is peanuts.
Having said that, it looks pretty obvious that the ballymore is big favourite if this horse keeps his fitness and form till march.
anyone not covering (with cash out available) is probably making a mistake though.

No cash out for me with PP though, sadly.

                        • Envoi really impressed me ,proved he can jump and travelled beautifully.

Will take a good one to beat him.

Supreme or Ballymore - Ballymore would be my choice no matter what happens with Malone Road.

                          • So Envoi looks set to go the Supreme route and scupper plenty of bets..
Who wins the Ballymore now then ? 🤷*♂️

The fact that it’s PP and Betfair that go 20s is particularly informative.

As my biggest single bet for the festival to date, today was very good to see. He’s an absolute weapon.

Did exactly this but with 365 as better price, no brainer now with his performance yesterday as can cash for profit. As with everyone else personally favour the ballymore but reckon the horse could run in either and will be fav if continuing those sort of performances and progressing with each run.
