Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Does not bother me one bit where Envoi Allen starts out. Samcro & Yorkhill both ran over 2m prior to winning the Ballymore. City Island 2, 3f too. It is irrelevant at this stage IMO.

I wouldn't say all will, but the majority of the pointers will. He'll have a lot of novice hurdlers this year you'd think!

Asterion Forlonge is one that never made the track last year but was an expensive recruit. He could be interesting and under the radar.

A little known previous winner took this route:

          2m 6f maiden at Punchestown
          2m 4f novice at Navan
          3m Grade 3 at Limerick
          2m 5f Ballymore winner

            • If Gordon has confirmed EA will take up the 2m option at DR then that presumably means Andy Dufresne won't run which is a shame.

                Majority yeah.

Hard enough to gauge the pecking order without that spanner though!

                • Henry de Bromhead specifically mentioned Dancing On My Own having the Ballymore as his target this season [in RP stable tour], which surprised me. But if you put a line through his Coral Cup run, he wasn't too far behind Klassical Dream at Leopardstown last Christmas, so maybe he does have a bit of quality and can progress.

Not suggesting by any means that he's a bet but he could be one to keep an eye on given the target seems set already.

The owner sponsors the race. So they can dream.

Hopefully my boy Longhouse Poet will be the sponsors main hope in the Ballymore. I think he's some of the best value in the race at 33/1 with Bet365.

Totally agree Jackie. Given connections its hard to make a case for NOT backing him at 33/1 with the cashout option. Adding him now. Bloody hell, I'm going against my intended strategy and its still October... up to 5 in this race already

You'll have to go Saturday instead

The plan is for Envoi Allen to run Saturday as far as I'm aware. Saturday looks like being a really good card
