Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

Block button? We are supposed to be sensible adults who enjoy the same sport aren't we?

Everyone is guilty of that I think.

But I feel there has and still is plenty of discussion. Nothing wrong having a strong opinion at all though. The repetitive stuff is a bore, but do see it as members just trying to help others out, even if it is in a more forceful way. The bet is still available for those that disagree tbf

But if you are already on at 25's you are going to give the horse another chance CoD. Not pile back in at 16's because you arent prepared to write him off after one run. Its not 'making excuses'. Plenty of good horses have lost along the way...

You seem to be highly offended. Because a horse you've backed has been beaten fair and square.

My advice is as iv said, I'd leave andy dufresne alone and move on with others in this race.

If your offended by that you can block me, I dont mind. I dont get what offence that causes.

When I back one I really fancy and it loses fair and square, and it will happen.

anyone can post what they like, and there honest opinion of that horse. I wont make up countless excuses and be offended.

Who is making up excuses? I've already posted I didnt like how he finished his race and that clearly it was disappointing. But these aren't robots, they are horses. He is very highly thought of by a stable who know a good one when they see one.

Its not making excuses to say the winner 'might' be very good, and that AD is worth another chance? You can't accept that point. And its nothing to do with the fact I've backed him. Pretty sure Ive been at this game alot longer than you and will back countless duds, like we all will. Its not a competition on here.

                      • Al dancer for example, he was beat fair and square up in grade giving away weight, most people think hes rubbish, most have advised they would cash.

HE diddnt have a dodgy curry the night before, he diddnt have cramp. He clearly lost on merit. Against a horse that isn't a world beater.

Iv decided to keep him @33s, hoping the race will cut right up. I dont think hed win as it is now, I'm not offended by every time its mentioned that he wont. I'm keeping him until I see how the race shapes up, and what he does next time. But iv already moved on, and backed fanion destruval who is better

You can think up as many excuses as you like.
Forget about him and move on.
Just pasting the trainers words. I'm not making excuses. Dont need to be chastised thanks.

Last comment on the matter from me. I've never made a single excuse for why AD lost today. Not one. Just said I'll give him another chance before writing him off as the winner might be very good.

If you think Im offended by a horse Ive backed losing, you couldnt have it more wrong.

It's not just that. It's the talk of how he was dictating where envoi allen goes and the talk about how great he is. If you look back through this thread you'll see what sort of pedestal he was put on for achieving very little when he was an 8/1 shot throughout this chat.

Then he loses fair and square. And the excuses roll out. He cant have been right etc.. when his form never stated he was better than his run today

Anyway I'll leave it at that.

                              • Gordon Elliott thinks there may be something amiss.
The jockey didnt seem to back that up.

I have no opinion other than what I have just seen is the horse beaten fair and square.
I'm not down about that, having backed the winner at 80/1 and 66/1 for the Albert B.
My last word on the race run today.
