Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Not a fan but you would have to be fairly mad to take the comment at face value.

He is probably overrating Brewinupastorm and The Big Getaway but I suspect most of his other thoughts were not that wide of the mark.

He gets paid to say this stuff, and if he's just saying it for effect it doesn't make it forgivable?
      It's headline grabbing type stuff.

      No need for it.

Got enough shite to wade through on here without listening to professionals doing the same

        He's odds on tomorrow.

Willie Mullins in 2018 ran Real Steel (went on to run in JLT)
Year before, 2017, he ran Kemboy (went on to run in JLT)

Now neither of them covered themselves in glory in their respective festivals BUT they've both proven to be good, and very very good since... so he certainly isn't opposed to sending a nice one here?

Allaho should be putting away two JP runners who are probably not all guns blazing to win anyway?

A definitely chance Allaho goes up in trip BUT 16/1 NRNB is perfectly fair isn't it?

Feasibly Faugheen or Laurina are going to come here and go off shorter but it's not out of this world that Allaho could be Willie's main shot at this race, and it's hardly like Samcro is going to scare him off?

I suppose he could lose tomorrow and still run, but I think it's a decent risk.

He gives a decent mention for quite a few in that article to be fair including Itchy Feet

        • I see Alloha is noticeably stronger for this race over the RSA on the exchange

Must be on holiday in Hawaii.....

But in seriousness with that in mind do we see him here and faugheen and easy game rsa then?

            • I have no idea what Mullins and Rich Switchy is going to do but if Faugheen was mine....

I'd be tempted to miss Cheltenham, run him at Fairyhouse and then look to bring the house down with his final run in the (Open) Punchestown Gold Cup.

But Easy Game looks nailed on for the RSA.

To be fair the Marsh could be perceived as the easier race which may account for the stronger support at present. As Archie always reminds us Willy leaves it very late with these decisions so would be surprised if anything has been formalised just yet. Looking at Faugheens price both for this and the RSA (on the exchange) I do wonder if he is an intended runner. I know people question whether he would be able to maintain his form at Cheltenham but surely he should be trading shorter based on his performances on the track this season

How do you work that one out? He’s never ran over further than 2m5f & doesn’t look to be crying out for a trip to me!

                  • I'd say it's Allaho and Easy Game (although WPM doesn't send Flogas runners to the Marsh) for the Marsh, Faugheen RSA, don't be surprised if we see Melon back over hurdles too, if he doesn't go back over hurdles he could join Allaho in the Marsh and Easy Game stepping up with Faugheen.

The only one I'd be near on 100% on though is Allaho, I think he's Marsh bound.

                    • Ref Easy Game? Pure guess and I'm probably wrong! But he was finishing pretty well the other day and suspect there's a chance he'll be rushed off his (itchy) feet in a Marsh....

                      • I agree with your last sentence COD and been backing him since his last run to do so. Without a superstar in the Marsh I suspect they'll be tempted to run a Vautour-like race and bounce him out from the off and dare anyone to go past. Will take a good one to do so.

Note Allaho can be backed at 6s with a boost with Hills which is short enough but offers cover....

                        • Having hung my hat on Samcro & City Island I am now at a complete loss with this race at the moment and am pretty much starting again from scratch. Nothing at the top of the market interests me. I don't need a penny on Faugheen to thoroughly enjoy him rolling back the years so as a betting proposition he is out. Itchy Feet & Mister Fisher just don't grab me. Warmer towards the former than I am the latter, but neither strike me as top class and I am more fond of the Irish. JOB surely tempted to send Fakir here no?

I agree i hope they do that with him. It will suit him down to the ground.

Only thing i will say is, he's been tipped up by the likes of Andy Holding in recent days, so any of the slight market moves are probably coming from no-one in the know per se.

Lots of races during the week, you dont have to have a strong opinion on them all sometimes its working out which ones to go light on which will have the best affect on the P/L at the end of the week pal
