We must have been typing at the same time....

    • Ha ha, I’m still amazed Mister Coffey is still such a big price, it seems too good to be true. Has anyone heard how’s he’s been schooling or heard anything? You wouldn’t normally see a juvenile hurdler trainer by Nicky Henderson at such a potential massive price

Mister Fisher won the 12.50 at Kempton Boxing Day 2018.....is it that a mere co-incidence and name play or is this a Christmas gift from the betting Gods

      • Interesting that Henderson's last winner before Altior's victory in 2016 was 1992. Record in last 20 years reads:
        7, 5, 3, 1, 4, 2, 2, 2, 2, 4, 8, 2, 3, no runner, nr, 3, 3, 10, 9, 8.
So a lot of seconds and thirds and knocking on the door I guess.

Daphne was a big eye catcher for me at Sandown... she’d be the one for me here.

Probably was an egg and spoon race but Whittington got 340,000 pounds for him afterwards. One to keep an eye out for. Nicky tends to send horses with previous hurdling form for next Thursdays race. At 66/1 Mister Coffey worth a small ew for Supreme as we know from the entry that he is fit and well and ready for a run, even if it's not at Kempton

              • Has anyone heard anything about Harry Fry’s King Roland? It all seems to have gone quiet following his second place at Newbury.

Not a peep and no entries either. I’d be surprised to see him mentioned for this race though.

                  • Not one I’m interested in but others are:

"Blue Sari is an intended runner at this stage for the two-mile Grade 1 novice hurdle at Leopardstown," said Berry of the 11-4 shot for the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle.

"He was workmanlike when winning on his hurdles debut at Punchestown but was a bit keen and we're hoping he can improve."

                      He's not declared.

Mister Coffey declared at Doncaster on Boxing Day in a 2M 3&1/2F Novice Hurdle.

                              • Mister Coffey now entered for Newbury on 28th, over 2 Miles.

Seems like he should run this week given the multiple entries.
