If JP buys Captain Guinness that ought to be a massive clue to everyone what he thinks of him versus his currently owned Supreme Hurdle horses prospects.
You'd expect Envoi Allen will frighten a few off in the Ballymore, but Id imagine they might fancy another crack at him with Elixir Dainy. Wasn't beaten too far and could improve plenty.
But other than that, Id favour the Supreme for all of JP's other best novices myself. He doesn't seem averse to running plenty of his own against each other either.

Not sure it directly says anything about his others SW. He wouldn't be buying CG just for the Supreme. Just trying to get his hands on as many top class horses as he can.

You'd be skint if you used the same thinking with the triumph.

I reckon I would, but all of the Triumph purchases are another matter entirely.
I remain so impressed by a horse who only ran in public for the first time 4 weeks ago (didn’t pull on that occasion, and hurdled really slickly) that if JP bought him, it’s because there is so much untapped potential so early in his development, yet he could hit the mark in Grade 1s this season.
