I don't know he will, whereas Aba is stone cold certain to be here.

I struggle to believe that Envoi and the bumper lot are the only horses going to win the novice hurdles this March.
Certainly not, if you look in my any race bets, and keep up with entries. You may well see a few nice ones that willie has sat in their box.

But out of abacadbras and blue sari in a hurdles race over 2m, I'd be with abacadabras all day long.

At this very moment, he's shown his hand a lot more. I wouldn't be taking Blue Sari's maiden win literally though.

I dont think anyone is, or he'd be 50s for the supreme. But to think he'll suddenly jump up to the level abacadbras has shown, is too big a leap for me for a horse who's top price 16s.

            • Blue Sari's jumping was very in and out for my liking and I would need to see him again before getting involved. I was very impressed though with Unexcepted and have gone in TWAR as I can't decide between Supreme or Ballymore with him. Think he will turn out to be the best of Mullins and kept away from Envoi

              • Front View form boosted today albeit in the bumper by the impressive Uhtred.

Losing that maiden hurdle and going back to bumpers could be a blessing in disguise for Uhtred. He’ll now have an extra year and should prove a very good novice hurdler for next season.

                  • Blue Sari is a funny one for me. His form of last season looks very good. Trounced Front View off levels then pushed EA all the way.. even allowing for the weight pull, its very good form when you look at the horses immediately behind.

But I just can't quite bring myself to back him. Have always wanted bigger than the current price when I've looked at him.

This race looks a bit of a puzzle Abacadbras aside. Lots of slightly inconclusive good runs and form without much depth. Abacadabras still looks a very backable price compared to plenty of those near the top of the market in the other races.

                    • Looking to add further towards Blue Sari in the coming weeks for the Supreme, or may just go 'any race' to cover my arse

                        • JP seems to be throwing the kitchen sink at the Supreme, based on the ones currently that head or are thereabouts in the Supreme market.

I think Scooby pointed out the exact number, but I don't remember it usually being like this for him, as by now we've had a Mullins good thing sent out.

                          • I am a little bit disappointed Shishkin isn't being aimed at the Kennel Gate. All his 3 runs have come on flat right handed tracks so perhaps they are sending him to Newbury and not Ascot for that reason.

Abacadabras taking some support isn't he. 6/1 across the board now.

Yep he is, he's shown his hand and it's of a high level. While so many haven't shown anything yet, bar maiden wins. Not many bar unexcepted have looked flashy either. Personally would hope there'd be one or two that come out that are better than him.

I was surprised he was even considering pitching him in deep on debut in the Kennel Gate.
