Not so sure he'd have held off that run from the winner. Very keen horse.

        On the big screen haha

Just rewatched.. wouldn't say he was beat as Paul had only give him a few slaps down the neck before the last but he certainly didn't have the race won thats for sure..

        • Hood made no difference to Blackbow, think he was even keener than Naas, cashed out.

          • Quick question,

Why such a big price differential between Abacadabras and Blue Sari ?

              Probably a few reasons:

Blue Sari had started off over 2 1/2 and had been mentioned as more of a stayer, for all he probably didn't look like that on hurdle debut. Whereas Aba's destination is certain.

Aba has also ran a few more times over hurdles at a higher level.

Agree though probably shouldn't be if you knew he'd go here.

Because blue sari has achieved nothing over hurdles. He recieved a lofty weight allowance in the bumper, and hasn't bettered that so far. Many horses have come from bumpers and have not built on that.

Abacadabras has improved for jumping hurdles, he's achieved a much higher level of form. And is the rightful fav for the supreme at this time.

You'd have to be mental to think that blue sari should be anywhere near the price of abacadabras for the supreme.

I don’t see how he’s improved for hurdles. He’s still getting beat by the same horse in Envoi. Sari was receiving weight yes but for a reason. He’ll be a much stronger horse this year and see no reason why he wouldn’t beat Abacadabras again in a strongly run supreme. I maybe proved wrong but Abacadabras just doesn’t have the right credentials to win a supreme.

He got a weight allowance for a reason though....His mullering of Front View doesn't look the worse either and that was off levels.

                    • Mad to think JP has the next 8 in the betting behind abacadbras for the supreme.

Bumper form..... if you love the way he jumps a hurdle. And your sure it will be his final destination Take the 16s.

Hes not for me. I think its plain to see abacadbras has improved.

                        Should find out at Christmas.

                        • Just think we could be missing a trick here. He’s pushed envoi harder than any other horse and as long as envoi doesn’t turn up here, 16/1 looks a massive price to me.

I certainly wont be, but nothing stopping you.

I don't know he will, whereas Aba is stone cold certain to be here.

I struggle to believe that Envoi and the bumper lot are the only horses going to win the novice hurdles this March.
