Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Hopefully for those that've backed him.
But his price has not really moved.
So it Don't seem like it.

Agreed Archie, my thought was that if any novice hurdler at Willies wasn’t ready to run by Christmas, and had little or no experience before joining him, that Cheltenham may not be the main plan for them this year and maybe Aintree, Fairyhouse or Punchestown in April/May could come more into his plans for those ones.

Boredom must have kicked in, no guarantees that fly smart is THE ONE as theres more than a dozen waiting. But I guarantee hes not played anywhere near his hand yet.

Factually i was backing klassical dream at 55.0 days AFTER his run at christmas. And he was still 33/1 general price with the books afterwards. He was still 25s before the DRF. And 14/1 after it

Yep - cos people were still expecting the/or A nother Ricci horse to come out and be better

              • We did the same with the mares novices.
                Can't wait forever.
He may have already ran his best horse for the supreme.
Although I'd agree, it's early days yet and unlikely we have, but would want to see them over Christmas ideally.
Then they gotta do the business on the track.

                  • Just reading the last few pages has reinforced my thoughts that Gordon will completely dominate the 3 championship Novice races at Cheltenham. Willie has been very quiet with his young uns on and off the track

                    • Would the Deloitte being run over 2 miles now instead of 2 miles 2 have any bearing in his thought process now as a prep for the supreme? Not much of a change in distance but perhaps enough to start later at Christmas then onto the DRF as opposed to early December - Moscow flyer route.

If that conversation has reinforced anything I'd be shocked and surprised.
                        It's hardly been groundbreaking.
But I'm glad to have played a small part in you cementing a view.

As Jack has quite rightly chided
Could feel myself being sucked in, sat in the dark watching average racing and Find it, Fix it, Flog it.

                        • A quick glance through sporting life tells me there's at least 13 Maiden hurdles in Ireland.
between the 26th and 29th of Dec alone . surely plenty of time for any entries yet ??.

They're not just stood in their box, they've ran schooling hurdles and bumpers at the curragh. Which is now just starting to filter through to the racecourse, There's the first 3 entered up that was at the curragh. 2 in bumpers. 1 over hurdles.

                            • Just welled up cos Bob Willis has died.
                              How weird is that.
He was a proper grumpy twat.

                              • Any of these yet to debut this season may have to be better than EA.

Question - how many horses in the last ten years have won the Supreme (or Ballymore) with two or less career runs (anywhere, incl flat, NHF, French hurdles etc)?
