    • Chantry House in the opener at Newbury tomorrow too over 2 miles. Looks an easy enough race for him

      • Francine entered in a race on Sunday @ Punchestown with a pencilfulloflead. Form line for the Latter with Asterion Frolonge. Francine having it being 3rd in last race with a few others people fancy for other races, 1st Cobblers Way, 2nd Sempo, and 4th The Big Getaway.

(Putting this in the 3 Novice races for anyone interested)

        • From Nickys blog

          Chantry House (Barry Geraghty)

We’ve always thought a great deal of him so have given him plenty of time and he’s flourished. I thought his win on hurdles debut at Cheltenham was very good and this looks a good opportunity to gain some more experience. He’s in the Supreme and Ballymore and this will tell us a lot more about which route we need to take. I’ve been very happy with his work and he schools beautifully so I’m extremely hopeful.*

            • According to Nichols betfair blog he reckons Ecco is a decent bet in the betfair hurdle he’s also entered in the supreme and is 66/1 with 365 and 50/1 NRNB with sky I've taken up an each way position in case he runs a stormer and then goes for the supreme

Unlikely on any form he's shown however it's a low risk high reward kind of bet, which I'm a fan of

                • Barry basically summarising that Chantry House & Sporting John are the JP chosen 2 from this side of the sea & that the weekend runs should help with who goes supreme / ballymore:

I really hope CH goes supreme from my own financial position as have back SJ any race! We’ll know more Monday I guess!

Related double on them each way perhaps?

272/1 for Chantry House (Supreme) / Sporting John (Ballymore) (PP/BFSB)
                    NRNB price of 164/1 (sky)

713/1 for Chantry House (Ballymore) / Sporting John (Supreme) (PP/BFSB)
                    NRNB 186/1 (sky)

                    • Henderson doesn’t have a realistic chance in the Ballymore but has a few in the Supreme so I reckon Chantry House will go to the Ballymore regardless of today’s result

Might be worth a look at this then: 713/1 for Chantry House (Ballymore) / Sporting John (Supreme) (PP/BFSB)

                        Free bet material.

                        • Unless I’ve missed an announcement I don’t think Sporting John will be in the SNH and if he does I don’t think he’s good enough to win but you’re right it’s a free kick on the edge of the box if it’s NRNB.

JP is struggling for a runner in the supreme..... Chantry House will be his main hope and fully expect him to go 5/1 or shorter after today.
I personally really fancy him for the supreme. After his victory at Cheltenham last time out I thought he looked a really awkward ride but for him to finish the way he did, shows the ability is there. A strongly run supreme will bring out the best in him.

I'd very much like a big Chantry House performance today too.

Why wouldnt you think he will run in the Supreme all three runs at 2m 1f would strongly suggest that they see him as a Supreme horse???? If hes out paced tomorrow then I agree but if he wins then surely they go supreme, seems obvious.
