Willie will have an idea of who will have the most potential at beating EA and if that is to be The Big Getaway then its simple - TBG Ballymore and AF Supreme. All part of the fun of Ante post!

I thought up in trip was exactly what Nico and Hendo were musing about.

Yes, but that was before today's race. He won his novice very easily but that was effectively a three horse race. I would see him as an exciting novice chaser for next season. I couldn't see him beating today's winner over the Ballymore trip.

So are they still heading for the 2m3f race? I thought that was ruled out.

We all know nothing is ruled out until the final decs. As I said, they were musing.

Extra half be good. Not sure we need to go up now etc.

            • Also, that was before AF did a demolition job today, and really threw the cat amongst the pigeons.

Looks like 3 of them are the same price - AF/Shish/Aba

He is still entered in it, at Huntingdon on Thursday this week.

                    • Asterion Forlonge shortened into 5s with BF/PP and is a best priced 8s with them for the ballymore for anyone wondering his potential target.

                        • Willie did suggest there would be discussions with Donnelly over the plans, and that AF would quite easily stay the Ballymore trip. However, with Shishkin going to Huntingdon i'd be happy to guess AF-Here + Shiskin- Ballymore.

AF from the front + Shishkin ridden close to the pace + to finish strongly sounds about right....

I'd have thought asterion forlonge and shiskin both to the supreme. And the big getaway ballymore would be very likely.

                            • Asterion Forlonge given an RPR of 156, 11 ahead of where Klassical Dream was after his Leopardstown win. Shishkin was given an opening RPR of 138. Abacadabras has hit a high RPR of 150 this season, so would have a little work to do based on that, and that alone (which, just to clarify, it isn't).

Topspeed ratings also has Asterion Forlonge well clear, being given 138, KD was 130 at this time, and Shishkin 121 for his first run over hurdles. Again, Abacadabras hit a high TS of 134 this season, putting him behind Asterion Forlonge, with more experience under his belt.

These figures will likely not mean much to many, and were just an observation/comparison that I thought may be of interest. Shishkin will likely improve on his figures, next time out also.

I think it's fair to say now that Asterion Forlonge is WPM's number one Supreme horse, and I don't remember a time he switched his best Supreme hope to the Ballymore, so for that I think it's almost nailed on he would come here.

Fair chance of that too. Assuming Shishkin wins impressively again on Thursday, this race will be an interesting market to watch up to the off if they were both to rock up here. Donnelly colours with first + second fav potentially.
