Since that day I have just had a feeling he might end up here. I'm very likely wrong but a good performance over the minimum trip this weekend might well force their hand.

Backed him eachway at 12/1 for this weekend and he has already been clipped in when not declared for the 2m6f race. Also nibbled away on the exchange at stupid win only prices and will now back at 33/1 eachway with 365 for the Supreme - with cash out... hopefully … if he bombs out. The NRNB price is half that but even 14/1 could look big should he end up here.
There you are you see - 14/1 NRNB is looking good now.

    • If AF is a player here and Abacadabras is rumoured to be out, a race I was very confident with a few weeks ago is getting ripped to shreads!

Which rumours about Aba being out BB?

        • It was all based on Abacadabras' drift in the Supreme market, which turned out to be the result of him going straight to the festival, and missing the DRF.

I don't believe there are any actual 'injured rumours' though.

          • AF was impressive there but he did still jump to his right at plenty of his hurdles, but that is the only negative I can see in him.

I think that's a peculiarity with Leopardstown myself.
As long as it's not too pronounced I think a lot do it on this track.
Not sure if its camera angles and fence positioning myself, there a lot of hurdles just before bends.

                Correct.

There is no logic in running the two horses against each other so the stronger stayer will more than likely go up in trip.

It strikes me there is a bit of let's hope he doesn't run against Envoi Allen creeping in.

Sorry CCM think I misinterpreted a post in the Ante post thread. Someone mentioned about Aba being similar to Rayapour and suspended with cash out. Suppose my paranoia could start off these rumours!

You need to watch the interview again, it's just been posted on the bartlett thread.

Why is there no logic in running them in the same race? What if both horses best chance of winning is the supreme?

Ok cheers BB! Had me worried then... I imagine he drifted a bit purely for being st in his box this weekend.
