Think he was bought by him in November. Changed stables to Mullins then - you’re right too, had him in tracker & was red and black colours then, now in the famous “Switch Switchy” colours.

Shiskin*will probably run in the Sidney Banks Memorial Hurdle at Huntingdon on February 6th*and after a small hold up,*Chantry House*is back in action now and will be working next week. He’s got to go somewhere before Cheltenham so might finish up in the Dovecote Hurdle at Kempton on 22nd*February.
Sounds like a negative for Chantry House to me. Big fan of the horse but very short in betting for horse that’s had 1 run and a recent setback.

        • Personally more than happy with that Chantry House update as a Supreme and any race backer. Hendo said he picked up a cut that got infected a few weeks back. The fact he is going for the Dovecote suggest the Supreme is the plan which is much my preference. Not suggesting he is currently good value, but will be delighted if he lines up for race 1

          • Plenty of support for Jon Snow to finally get his season up and running tomorrow. He could yet be Mullins/Ricci plunge in Supreme.

You would hope not! Certainly not the supreme winner no chance

Surely not; even allowing for Willies needing the run first time out that would be some turn around

                • Unless Santa Rossa can’t jump I’d say she’ll take the beating. Jon snow seems to be well thought of but hasn’t produced

Think he'll win easy along with Allaho. Might help myself to that double tomorrow.

                      It’s as if you’d read Ruby’s mind...

I’m going for a horse that you’re probably tired of hearing me talk about and that is Jon Snow. He’s been third in his two starts over hurdles, over two miles in Cork. We got it wrong over Christmas with him giving him two and a half. He doesn’t need two and a half, he drops back to two miles on Saturday. In a double with Allaho, that could be profitable.

                        • There’s a class 3 2m option at Sandown next weekend that would suit Chantry House perfect for me. Sandown is the closest match to Cheltenham in testing terms. Hopefully see an entry there next week. I’m becoming more quietly confident over his chances here should he line up!

Only just catching up, sounds like the Work Rider was right, I think Jack heard a similar thing as well

                              • More blue for Shishkin today. This is incredible. Has a maiden hurdle winner ever been backed into 4/1 6 weeks before the festival?? Apart from maybe Melon i certainly dont recall it. Crazy. just glad to be on at 14s.
