Unexpected is probably the best hurdler in that field and definitely the worst placed horse over Xmas! Think Willie had a brain fade on that one. That field was obviously without Fly Smart... hope it runs!

We need to think what’s best at Dublin first, there will be a rare old battle there. Likely good odds on Unexcepted if you think he is their top horse.

I hope Fly Smart lives up to the hype and Willie has a massive runner! Just going through the runners in my head and seeing what will actually run. On paper it actually looks a decent enough race. Better than the last couple of years. I’ve said before I haven’t been a fan of the last two runnings.

If Willie is to have a player in this (and surely he will!?) it’s looking likely to be Unexcepted and/or Fly Smart isn’t it? Happy to be on both at this stage as a big performance from either could see a price crash.

Fly Smart is a strange one and despite the entry Im wondering if hes a big red herring. We all know that a few quid antepost and prices change straight away and yet hes still sat at 33/1 with PP who I think we all accept are the bookie who tend to get that stable the best when it comes to pricing their horses. Everyone i know who bets on horses has backed him at 33/1 and yet he can still be backed at the same price. Ironically this is one of the rare occasions when a horse does deserve to be that big price, but why hasnt the money shifted his price, before Melon made his debut what price was he for the Supreme can anyone recall please?

I’m a backer of Fly Smart and this has been on my mind for a while now as well, has to be a concern. Especially given his french form has taken numerous boosts over the last couple of months. We can only hope but I’d be stunned if bookies got this one wrong given connections

I havent got a scooby about this race! I had this one sorted this time last year jumping on KD at 12/1 this year is alot different because alot of horses may go elsewhere, strange that the 2mile hurdle divisions arent stacked these days. Ive backed f**kall i personally dont see anything in Abacadabras form to back him id probably have a big go on Easywork if i knew that was turning up here

Fly smart and shiskhin are my only bets in this race so far il probably back chantry/ abra on the day with sky lack of runs this season isn’t good for fly smart prefer 2 or 3 going into the supreme

Also been a concern of mine and my expectations are very much in check. Maybe clutching at straws a bit but PP did add him very late to the market. I suspect the fact he’s still at that price suggests he’s not blowing them away at home as you would have expected some contraction in price this last couple of weeks in the lead up to an entry. Just hoping he’ll be one of those that does their talking on the track. Think 20s NRNB is a bit of a bet to nothing
