I’ve said it plenty of time but this is the hardest non novice race to consider so far out, pretty much the entire field will be targeting the Champion Chase or Gold Cup (or some serious handicap cheating) and will only end up here if they don’t have pace/stamina for either of those trips...

In terms of this race, you'd have to say that they both have the same sort of chance but neither may be good enough to win. As a place bet, Melon would be more attractive.

Wasn't much of a price in the Supreme, mind.

I reckon it was four sentences?

Imo absolutely no chance of that happening.
He ran a cracking race and was there with a chance, definitely be back next year and if they are sensible and miss the king George with him can see him being bang there again next year.
Having said that 7-1 at this stage for a race he probably wont run in is taking the piss.

Totally agree here, an aggressive front running ride on a course that seems to favour those up with the pace would make him the one to beat in the Ryanair imo definitely hasn't looked like he needed an extra 2.5 furlongs in his races so far to me!

Allowing for improvement with age/experience he could still achieve this and has little to find with Minella Indo.
I doubt Mullins makes many mistakes when judging a horses optimum trip....

I've surprised myself as I know I've backed him for the Ryanair already in a double which is odd considering it's perfectly feasible he doesn't run.

He got much closer to Minella Indo this Spring than he did last Spring so you could argue his stamina is improving.
I have Allaho at 20/1, not a bet I’m massively keen on but I had a big pot of free bets after a series of betway offers on first/last race specials and runner up offers, I won’t be pressing the bet as I think there are 3 or 4 others with better crudentials but it wouldn’t shock me if Allaho improved sufficiently to win a Gold Cup.
But no-one knows the horse better than Mullins and he’s a big price to repeat the mistakes of HDB (who ran Sizing John over 2m for 4 years before switching to Jessie and winning a Gold Cup)...

With plenty of talk coming from the stable about running Alloha in the Marsh I remain far from convinced it was Willie’s preference to run him in the RSA and it was the owners that pulled rank. Even with this theory though it means there is a very good chance the owners will prefer to go for Gold Cup despite Willie and Co saying look he doesn’t stay well enough as proved by the RSA run.
