  • I think scooby has forgotten that apt is only a 6yr old and could still have bags of improvement to come whether cps is overrated or not

So Min can't win at Cheltenham because he's been placed twice from 3 festival runs.

One of the worst cases I have ever seen made.

You must be winding me up?

      • I personally feel Min is best on a flat track

Come on Kev? Wouldn't you prefer the race to be at Aintree? Hates that Hill!

              Yep, I was being sarcastic.
Different days and different races, it's not always easy to match up (more often than not it don't)

The fact I'm having to explain this is shocking
I know you weren't (seriously) - but thanks for explaining anyway
Your contradiction point was valid and amusing.

I don't think you can say a horse that has come 2nd in a Grade 1 Supreme and a Grade 1 QMCC hates the hill.

                    Read what you're asking me.

Do I think a horse HATES the hill, who's finished ahead of all these horses at Cheltenham that also have festival winning or placed form... Buveur D'air, Supasundae, Politigloue, Douvan, Petit Mouchoir, Bellshill.

Ruling a horse out of winning at Cheltenham, because they've been placed twice is bonkers.

Yes he was - and last year he finished behind Altior - Politilogue - Sceau Royal and Hells Feckin' Kitchen!

Last year there were valid excuses- tactics f up. He probably wasn't at his best either.

                        The other two times?

So on balance, you're picking that run as his best run?
The run after, you genuinly believe it's the track that brought around that much improvement?

It's much more likely they got the tactics wrong (Willie and Ruby have said this too)....

He's never been better than Altior.... that doesn't mean he can't win a Ryanair.

Cruised - found nothing up the hill.
Last year - not at his best? Maybe - but was well backed and then pissed in at Aintree a few weeks later

He was held up in a slowly run race and needs further these days.
That race (Queen Mother) is one of the most unreliable pieces of form I've seen in a while.
The hike one of the placed horses got was stupid.

                              • Completely agree - he could well win a Ryanair.
