Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • See Andy Holding put up Riders on the storm at 12/1 for this race yesterday:

I think if memory serves me correct FM was keen on this one. He’s now best priced 10s but you can get that with 365 NRNB so with the doubts about a few at the top of the market I’ve added to my team to go with Min and Footpad and that’s me probably done with this race.

Wonder what price he'll be after he spanks Cyrname at Ascot?!

      Surprising 'tip' though from him?

Sloppy as you like ...haha. Did read the last couple, but didn’t go back far enough, anyway I have added the absolute pearl of wisdom that you can get 10s NRNB now. Seriously though I like the balance of a progressive one (ala Frodon last year) to go alongside the established grade 1 performers.

Yeah fair enough, I honestly haven't read it.... Iw ill shortly.

Just can't see me agreeing that 10/1 is a good bet when horses that are just LOADS better on all known form are 6/1.

Yep questioning it myself but thinking was no way I will get involved at single figures and if a couple do come out at the head of the market should be a bit bigger than SP. NRNB can cash out when you like, low risk

Didn't realise that, that changes it, on level terms i don't know how good footpad is these days.

Off levels, if Footpad isn't a 5L better horse than Voix Du Rubbish and Rubbish Steel, I'll turn into a slug and throw myself into a salt mine.

                        • Just listening to Hobbsy here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UusC8Mx1aGk&app=desktop

The way he goes on about Defi definitely staying the trip.
The way he goes on about Tingle Creek being easiest division "at the moment"
The way he goes on about Sandown being stiffer than Cheltenham and that's WHY it'd suit

I'm now much less sure that if he wins tomorrow that he goes for the QMCC.

Could be reading too much into it, and it's not JUST Hobbsy's choice, but he's 8/1 to win the Ryanair, the 7/2 NRNB price is now looking like something I'd be annoyed not to be on.

Then again, with Min in the race, how short would they actually make him with a win tomorrow?

Personally I have two cardinal rules. The first is don't back a bleeder. Footpad was favourite when a well beaten last in 2019 Ryanair when he bled. On his comeback he didn't come under pressure when Balko De Flos didn't show and similarly he didn't come under pressure in the King George. For me he makes a book on Sunday between Real Steel and Hardline as excellent bets. BTW I have similar problem with Laurina when she runs next

                              Hmmm, yes/no P

It’s all about IF, don’t know any stats on bleeders , does anyone?

IF Footpad doesn’t then he pisses up IMO

IF my aunt had bollocks she’d be my uncle

                                Conundrum

Hobbs will obviously have input but won’t make final decision

Large majority think QMCC , personally think Ryanair more winnable

I’m on early doubles Ryanair with Envoi Allen 10/1 (Bally ) so have had to cover

                                Conundrum
