Think he’s very good but will ultimately be found out at the very top level.

Agreed Charlie. Love ornua but wouldn’t have him quite good enough.

Interesting Mullins mentioned 2 1/2 for cilaos...will see how he gets on

Cilaos Emery may need an uncharactistically full campaign for a Mullins horse to get the required experience to be a player in this race?

Probably the worst horse to get injured last year ante-post for loads of us... the 20/1 to make amends this year doesn't tempt me...

1/2 is no price to be getting on at tomorrow either...

I can't see me getting him onside really

Hadn’t really properly considered him until your post Kev and I think I do want to get him in my book. I like many on here was convinced he was last year’s Arkle winner and the Champion Chase this year has an open look about it. I am heavily invested in Chacun, but mainly any race as I do think there is some doubt over trip for him, let alone the risk of keeping him sound. Take him out and take Altior out and it’s not inconceivable that CE could be Mullins’ number one in a wide open field. I’ve considered the any race option but strangely I don’t think that I’d fancy him as much in the Ryanair... mainly down to strength of opposition but not convinced he wants an extra half in any case. Like you tho, 20s for this is a little skinny so have tried to double Blackbow with him today and if Blackbow goes down will have to quickly reassess.

Leo Powell heard the champion trainer discuss his hopes for 50 of his most talented charges

Thought he was good and took 16/1 - just hope they can keep him fit this season.

Surely they would want to go for QM, rather than Ryanair.....not same owners as other Mullins 2m options

I’m hopeful with the 25s had ages ago

unless it comes up really soft at cheltenham I wouldnt be suprised if they went 2 1/2, real shame hes such a fragile horse though

Townend was keen to push him out to the line. I think if Chacun is as good as they think he is, Cilaos is likely to be stepped up. But as we know, Chacun is fragile so this will certainly be an option left open for Cilaos right up to the festival

Mullins doesn't like running them against each other even if in different ownership. He'll try his best to split them. That said I think it is more probable that Chancun moves up to Ryanair in view of his KG entry.

What evidence do you have to back that claim up Lobos?

Different ownership there are LOADs of examples.

What he will do is split the pack to put the horses with the best chance....

You're assuming Chacun Pour Soi is number 1 and Cilaos Emery is number 2.

Where are Min, Un De Sceaux, Douvan, Duc Des Genivres

                                All grade 1 winning chasers....

Un De Sceaux and Min would EASILY beat Ornua - Cilaos Emery has to prove he's better than those yet before you start slotting Mullins' best chances anywhere?
