Does Altior even turn up at Cheltenham full stop? Not exactly had a great prep and he looked out on his feet after Ascot. Would love to see him turn up but we’ve seen the champion chase winner there. Chacun pour soi is that price for winning one race at the end of the season where Defi had a long hard season (albeit was impressive in doing so)

They'll come into the race a whole lot fresher.

Just watched the race.
Won like I expected at Sandown, basically on bridle.
Probably won so well today that this race is highly likely now.
But although I'm a big fan and have had 2 very good results this season with him. Beating UDS and the others isn't the same as what he may face in March. Hobbs is right to see what happens and who looks like turning up and on what ground before commiting.
Although last year he didn;t wait till the very last minute so we may know the week before.
I don't think I'd back Defi in this on good to soft ground if the other players are in it. But he clearly has a great chance.
But I'd back him in the Ryanair without question.

Altior hit that flat spot last year against sceau royal. Defi is a league above. As soon as nicos getting stuck into altior, If defi is sent for home, it should be all she wrote.https://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

But I can see why people see him this way nowadays. He needs winding up earlier for sure, it's just wether anything can sit behind him at the pace he goes. Hopefully Chacun looks better next time too.
But in Altior, Chacun and Cilaos, thats three more worthy rivals than Old UDS.
