I don’t feel Altior was disgraced there, he was closing towards the line although he was never going to in. I think they should give him another go at the distance
the sectionals will be interesting, they didnt look as if they went that quick early on, i would definitely give Altior another go over 3m, but definitely LH. The savills chase should be the obvious race

I can't imagine there is any chance they go 3m now.
They've had a go and it's unlikely now he'd beat Cyrname at Kempton.
If he's not going Kempton he's defo not travelling to Ireland to try 3m.
Really weird run, seemed to have nothing. He's grinded out his last few wins but there was at least a lift and spark in him in those races, he just seemed wrecked and had nothing when asked of.
After he gets beat tomorrow and Hendo confirms he's going for the hat trick he'll immediately be shortened into 3's and then backed into 5/2 before the weekend is out. Cyrname will become the new 7/4 fav for the KG.
I don’t see Altior winning at the Festival after today, I don’t think he was looking the winner at anytime from 2M onwards. I do think they will aim for the Champion Chase now, and ditch the King George option. Probably have one prep run in early Feb and then Cheltenham.
