Do Minella Indo or Copperhead deserve to be favourites and less than 4/1?
Minella Indo would be quite possibly the worst value fav of the festival. Mullered by Laurina in his debut (with the others behind no good) and beat Captain CJ by 1 and a half lengths. He's also a 5/6 out of 10 jumper. He would need to run 15 to 20 lengths better than either of those races to be competitive here.
Copperhead won a Reynoldston in heavy where his 2 market rivals never travelled a yard. Best runs are right handed.
Allaho looks too keen and I'd be hoping he will go to the Marsh (probably in vain).
If we have Champ, Minella Indo, Copperhead, Allaho, Faugheen/Easy Game and even Slate House and Battleoverdoyen, then any horse in this race at less than 4/1 is underpriced.
I can't wait for this race as on paper it's strong, but I do think we may end up with an impressive winner and several underwhelming losers

The market is finally correct now. Minella Indo should be clear favourite and for me is bomb proof. The same prep this year as last year and just look what turned up in the Albert Bartlett. He could have went round again and I expect the same outcome in the RSA. I listened to people talk about how the step up in trip will improve Champs chances in this. I just can’t have him as I see him as a none stayer over 3 miles at Cheltenham and let’s not even talk about his jumping !! Not long to wait to find out.

At this point, all I can do is wish you luck with your bet.
I hope both horses get round and we can see a clear result either way.
