also really fancy Slate House both tomorrow and for this, should i be worried that I really fancy three Tizzard horses in Master Debonair, Slate House and Lostintranslation at the festival? I've always kinda had it in my mind that he's a trainer for Aintree. In fact that before this year I've only ever backed one of his horses and that was Native River both in 2018 and last year

Slate House hasn't lost much in that run today..... back in novice company is where that experience shoudl help him...he went a PROPER pace today, I think he'll learn a lot from it.


No disgrace in being walloped by a horse single figures for a Gold Cup.


It means Slate House will never be a Gold Cup horse, and he's by no means a good thing in this race.... but I still like the campaigning.... it gives him an advantage in the RSA for me.

And I'd play devils advocate and say that experience/lesson might not have helped is little horse brain.

Yeah he does.... mt theory is back in novice company it'll all come a little easier to him, therefore improving his jumping.



It could go the other way, I'm just happy to have it as a differential... if he didn't have that potential to improve I don't think he'd be good enough to win... and obviously it's easier to see positives when you're on at 40/1

Very scrappy today indeed. Even in a RSA he’ll need to jump much better than that.

If that's the only 3 I'd be very happy.

As allaho looks a JLT horse all day long. And minella indo hasn't been impressive at all.

Impressive for a horse to win the Kauto Star grade 1 without being very good.

I’m all chips I’m on the Champ/Paisley park double,been chipping away at it now for the last 4 months,I’m pretty certain Paisley is home and hosed,not 100% on champ,any alternatives that I might of missed to cover my outlay on the RSA??
