That'll be true of loads of horses, I don't think SW's quote was a quote, I think he's just stating the facts?

No one wants it, including me, I have 22/1 MI for the RSA.

It was an innocent comment, to state the fact that winning or placing in a 3M Chase does allow him to be considered by connections for both.
          No offence meant.

            • I have been having thoughts about City Island here. Did anyone keep the Brassil comments after the race.
Hes only in the RSA and prices range from 21/26 and 41. You cant knock that form last march!

Not sure what the comments were.

The horse just hasn't taken to fences though, has he?

I wouldn't back him at 40/1 for the RSA to be honest.

What do you mean he’s only in the RSA? Has City Island only been entered in the RSA?

                    • Can’t have him at all, just doesn’t seem to enjoy a fence like he did a hurdle, might improve a bit for better ground but at won’t be enough come March for me.

                        • Would the jockey booking of city island be a clue to its future target? Derek O’Connor getting a spin with a view to the nh chase perhaps?

                          • How could if I missed that! Of course.
But surely Derek would get a ride for someone bigger than Brassil

Not qualified and unlikely to be....be well worth keeping an eye on entries for him just in case....

More chance back over timber though in my opinion
