It isn't impossible that they'll have each other again in March. CC lost little in defeat and I'm not convinced that BOD is suited by Cheltenham, as Archie has suggested.

I feel there is every chance Battleoverdoyen and Samcro could switch. BOD isn't as slow as many believe, and clearly Samcro travels so well that a step up would be obvious to me.

I think they'll at least chance Samcro up in trip and then maybe decide. They've no shortage of staying chasers that's for sure.

Because he's a big unit who will get unbalanced (again) by the undulations. CC gained about a length on the run in so BoD did not 'stay on best'.

He's not slow at all. He looks slower than he is because of his stride, he's definitely not slow. Two 2m wins, a G1 2m 4f, he's not Don bloody Poli

Doesn't look any slower than others that I can mention that have won this. Think BOD has a huge chance

Have it your own way. I've not had a penny on anything in this race but you might want to consider why you're so defensive.

BoD was unbalanced by the undulations last season. It's all about getting a rhythm for jumping. Some big horses can handle it and some can't.

My only bet in this race is champ at 8s so I've no reason to defend BoD just giving my honest view.

BOD doesn't look like an RSA horse to me on todays performance. Davy Russell gave him a very hard ride to last home - hope it doesn't sour the horse. If he was mine I would be looking at JLT. Didn't have a bet on the race as I was on Carefully Selected.

Delighted with that. I thought CC had been more impressive than BOD this season but he's just settled that one fair and square. Really pleased with his jumping. The plan with CC was always to go NHC which looks even more likely after today, with BOD sure to go here. Still not getting carried away and would have liked to have seen him take on Minella Indo and Carefully Selected, but he can only beat whats put in front of him and he's racking up wins and experience which is what you want.

I get that some horses just don't do it for people and whilst I love BOD I can appreciate why people have strong opinions against him. That being said, apparently BOD doesn't look like an RSA horse .

Lets give him one more chance to prove himself before people say 1 track didn't suit him when there was at least 2 decent excuses for his poor effort.
