The form and performance, I said it straight after the race. It's only my opinion but it wasnt good. He diddnt do a tap infront against literally nothing. It was workmanlike imo. But being masqueraded as a great performance.

Was meant to run at Huntingdon a few weeks back but then didn't get entered. Not heard anything since. Tried asking but no response. Would presume a setback of some sort

I wont be too harsh on him, but I don't like what he does in front.

It will be interesting when hes put into deeper waters next to see what he actually has under the bonnet. Not one for me though

                    • Dont think he will stay well enough for an RSA myself.

                      • Ultimately, Ante Post betting is getting on a horse 1 - if you like a horse, getting on early at a nice price (like some will have done with Battleoverdoyen) or 2 - getting on at a nice price to trade off nearer the time/build a book, which beats the SP on the day.
Winning races satisfies both types of punters, as the odds inevitably shorten, and many will feel they’ve backed a good horse. There may be better horses in this race to come, but winning races is the game, and I am happy to be on at a far greater price than what the horse is today/likely to be when the tape goes up in March

                          • Thought that was fine.
Others are reasonable animals and they have more experience.
Amy second now looked better today that last time and Ex Patriot probably ran his normal race.
decent race to rate/gauge as many ran against each other last time.

He does look slow I must admit, but that's not always a disadvantage in an RSA.
Not a horse I'll back I reckon (although have included in multiples)

                            • Backed Brahma Bull off back of that - for any race. Could be Patrick's ride in the not four miler anymore

Agree, ASN is no mug. Good professional performance to win 5 lengths. RSA is a grueling race won by hardened, experienced novices in winter ground. BOD has a hell of a lot going for him.
