I’ve used quite a few £5 free bets on him @ 25/1 (Skybet), but have decided to take a bigger position @ 40’s.
The 12/1 now is a bit laughable, but a very good early shout Charlie.

    • Have I missed some news on Commander Of Fleet?

Bigger price than Allaho despite finishing ahead of him when 2nd in the Albert Bartlett.

Pulled up lame in Ireland after that...

16s with PP, 33 with WH

It was mentioned on twitter he was out for the season, but i can't find any official source, bar the Weekender's Irish tipster!

          • Definitely someone, somewhere, with a story about COF, think he was unlikely to be seen this season or something along them lines, can't find anything myself though.

He's not included in the stable tour though.

            • Just checked my notes. I’ve got down ‘Out for the season’ Gigginstown, Racing Post, 11/8/19.

Cheers Kev, I agree re 12/1 being short. Would like to see him do that against some decent rivals then i'll be a little excited

                  • Doesn't help that the RP called it a scintillating debut. I thought it very decent and satisfactory but noted that the time was slower than the handicap chase.
40/1 is a fine price but 12/1 about a horse that may not handle the track is taking the proverbial.

                    • Just taken 16/1 BOD with Hills which I reckon is still value. 2 more runs/wins and he'll be no bigger than 3's on day.

                      • The lovely people at Corals gave me 33-1 this morning for B.o.D , sure it should be 16's though.

Agree totally. Lucky enough to have backed while back. Don’t understand why horse is under-rated. Only one poor run in Ballymore when lots Gordon’s were off....and was always a chaser.....obvious target race and def still value

He traveled over really badly, or that was the excuse they used.

                            • watching chepstow today and there seems little doubt that most of nicholls horses have needed a run.
Truckers Lodge looked a lot better today.
His win and Golden sunrise subsequent win make the novice chase that Ardlethen and Lisnagar oscar ran in a lot better.
It would be fair to say that those two might benefit from the run also.

I concur with that. When Quel Destin won at the weekend he'd had a run on the flat before.
