I am all over Battleoverdoyen and think he’s a massive price @ 40/1 (William Hill). Ante Post prices are generally rubbish compared to the days of old, but prices like this give me faith all is not lost! I’ve used quite a few £5 free bets on him @ 25/1 (Skybet), but have decided to take a bigger position @ 40’s.
The 12/1 now is a bit laughable, but a very good early shout Charlie.
Definitely someone, somewhere, with a story about COF, think he was unlikely to be seen this season or something along them lines, can't find anything myself though.
Doesn't help that the RP called it a scintillating debut. I thought it very decent and satisfactory but noted that the time was slower than the handicap chase.
40/1 is a fine price but 12/1 about a horse that may not handle the track is taking the proverbial.
Just taken 16/1 BOD with Hills which I reckon is still value. 2 more runs/wins and he'll be no bigger than 3's on day.
Agree totally. Lucky enough to have backed while back. Don’t understand why horse is under-rated. Only one poor run in Ballymore when lots Gordon’s were off....and was always a chaser.....obvious target race and def still value

He traveled over really badly, or that was the excuse they used.
watching chepstow today and there seems little doubt that most of nicholls horses have needed a run.
Truckers Lodge looked a lot better today.
His win and Golden sunrise subsequent win make the novice chase that Ardlethen and Lisnagar oscar ran in a lot better.
It would be fair to say that those two might benefit from the run also.

I concur with that. When Quel Destin won at the weekend he'd had a run on the flat before.
