  • Battleoverdoyen declared for the beginners chase on Sunday - Keith jocked up and Davy on Galvin.

Still 33s with most bookes for the RSA, although BFSB/PP went 20s a few days ago.

Battle won't be running this weekend but he has a top profile for RSA. Backed him at 33's and will top up. Got a good feeling about him.

How do you know he won’t be running?

              • Lobos sounds like he's guessing he'll be pulled as they've a second horse in the race (owners + trainer).

Elliot doesn't mind having more than one runner in this based on past runnings...

Yep, complete guess work from me and clearly I was wrong! Soz for confusion. Hoping for a big run from him.

                  • Battleoverdoyen still available at 36/1 boosted with hills. Won’t be that price come 1.50

Will be interesting to see how much he's cut on the back of this, should he win. In what looks a very weak race.

You'd have to be a bit disappointed if he doesn't canter to victory.

I'm put off him myself, pulled up at chelt, lame at punchestown. His previous form is just not that good, and can see him being found out long before chelt personally. But
suppose elliot always thought hed be twice the horse as a chaser. And I cant knock people taking a punt at 33s with cashout.

Which of this season’s novice chasers brings the best form with them would you say? Champ?

What do you think of Bapaume doing back in trip Scooby? I desperately want to see him tried over the minimum trip this season.

Very keen on the JLT myself. But obviously want him priced accordingly. (40s / 50s)
Couldn't have him for the arkle what so ever myself

I'm not convinced he really stays the 3 miles and although he has run some decent races over the trip, I couldn't have him as an RSA type.

Looks ideal for a drop in trip over fences but even 2m 5f around Cheltenham might just stretch him imo.
