“Paul (Townend) felt the other horse just needed the race. He thought maybe the next day under the same conditions he would turn the tables.

“The Dublin Racing Festival would be the obvious target for Easy Game now all being well.

“He's probably not a real winter ground horse and when he won that it tells me the ground is a lot better than a lot of people imagine.

“I'm happy that I took Al Boum Photo out now and we'll go for softer ground somewhere else.

“Allaho gallops and jumps. They could both come back here for the Flogas Novice Chase.

“We'll have to see how they all come out of Christmas and then try and plan a path where we can separate them as well.”

Allaho at 20/1 for the RSA now, is an awful price. AWFUL.

Easy Game was a Grade 3 / Grade 2 Hurdler... who is bred to be a Chaser. He's also only 5. Could be anything to be fair. He's one I've always liked. Im going to add him for the JLT

Obviously not delighted Allaho was beaten but am I right in saying of the 5 (now 6 winners) Mullins has had they all had had a run?

Think that may be why people are being a bit more positive after a defeat. Seems his are needing the run at the minute.

Ive backed Champagne Classic @ 11/2. I love BOD and if he wins il be over the moon, but I have been really taken with CC so far this season. I think everyone has. Can’t let the heart rule the head so he’s the one I’m going for at the prices

CC for me also.. BoD not quick enough, MI more one for the spring festivals and don't think he will be good enough yet and cant have CS because of his jumping and in this race he wont get away with it. Anything around the 4/1 mark is a nice price IMO

It's a great race, and better than the 2 miler the other day now they're all declared.
I have backed Minella Indo, but respect all of the others.
I hope that I'm proved right about Battleoverdoyen and he is the least impressive. But it's only a hope really.
But it's a tough race to call.
So I went with the jockey in form. At 11-4 I thought was about right.
Ideally Minella wins and the other two follow him home within 5 lengths or so.

The form HDB is in I'd say Minella but it's a tough, tough one to call. Race of the year so far and wouldn't look out of place as RSA chase itself. Any one of them could win.
