Her Cheltenham form is pretty poor?

Fell when soundly beaten in the Mares Novice then beaten 24L in the AB last year.

I definitely wouldn't want her onside in this race, don't think she'd stay well enough....

Marsh I'd probably have a flyer if she was a big enough price. 33/1+

She's looked a different animal over fences. Rated 12 lbs higher than her Hurdles rating, unbeaten in 3 starts including a 8l win over a 142 rated horse in Galvin plus she gets the allowance.

Festival form on the face of it isn't great but she ran very well for a long way last year in the spud race and looked MI's biggest threat. Willie has said he wants to keep her over the 3m trip.

I just think that if this field cuts up as expected she's a definite ew bet at 33s. Don't think she'll turn up here however.

Are we really convinced by this? You cant tell me that the whole world knows that Allaho wont stay the RSA trip and that he keeps getting beat by Minella over 3 miles, that the greatest NH trainer of all time thinks the opposite?

Any mention of which race easy game runs in?

Apologies. Seen in marsh thread. Thanks for posting these

...I have no idea, Matey, I’m just reporting what he says in his RP column.

I do like Galvin, but on his first run on the season, I can't imagine he was running to his optimum, as they'll have had the handicap route in mind for him?

I wouldn't take it too literally. 33/1 I'd consider her again though, as it somewhat compensates for the Cheltenham form, perhaps.

Good question. I'd imagine it'll be Copperhead that makes it. He's reducing his chance if this is steadily run so it's in his best interests to set the pace.

A lot of similarities between Copperhead and Native River. Really like Copperhead for next year, particularly a chance to come back for the Gold Cup - appears to stay all day

A front running Copperhead would increase his chances, go out, jump well and get the others under pressure early on

                          • Champ is now third favourite for this on the exchanges.

                            Minella Indo 4.4
                            Copperhead 4.7
                            Champ 5.1

This is a more sensible read, than Champ being fav all winter.

'Vibes from trainer that he probably should ride Slate house' in the RSA rather than Copperhead.
