  • Hopefully that's cemented Faugheen for the Marsh and Allaho for the RSA!

First half of the race was fine but the way he was swallowed up along way out has to be a massive worry to supporters of this horse,as big as 14/1 now for RSA.

I wouldnt go anywhere near it at any price for the RSA or any other race.
It would have been fair enough if Faugheen had a bit too much finishing kick for him over todays trip but all 3 of Mullins horses had him covered and was beat before turn of foot became an excuse.

Bit of a tug boat who needs 6m and heavy to get involved.

        • Wouldn’t be overly surprised if something came to light with Battleoverdoyen; he was putting in a great round of jumping then just cut out. Probably wouldn’t have changed the result but perhaps taking a lead off something would have helped

          • I wonder whether Elliott has a problem in the yard? Some disappointing results for him this weekend. Battleoverdoyen, Eric Bloodaxe, and Wide Receiver are all much better than their performances this weekend.

Has already had 2 winners at Leopardstown. One yesterday and one today. Delta Work and the treble is coming right up. Horses are right as rain.

It was a strange decision to send a horse as slow as BOD to that race. Training error not trainer form issue imo.

More like the other way round, IMO.

Of course, my mistake. Fury Road may have under performed too. Battleoverdoyen just cut out when appearing to go smoothly and looked a very tired horse when falling. That wasn’t his true running despite the trip.

                    • Willie was getting all romantic after the race.
This was his gold cup etc etc.
However, I'd be surprised when the dust settles if we don't see him at Cheltenham.
But he's 12 and has no chance.

Someone on here yesterday said some of Elliots have a “runny nose” iirc?

                        • Added Easy Game for the RSA @ 33s

He ran a cracking race and WPM uses the Flogas as a race for his RSA horses.

I didn't think Faugheen looked like he wanted to be going any further than that as Easy Game came back at him?

The value of the forum is only as good as the people on it, and there’s no place for divisive wind up merchants that flood the forum with page after page of shit that's of little to no value (see this thread), even more so as we get near the business end of Cheltenham (he was previously banned on The Racing Forum for the same thing). For those that don't know Potato/Elegantly Tasted/Ruby Grolsch/Prince Harry/The Champ exists on here as a wind up merchant that relishes threads going round and round in circles, clogging up the forum, being generally argumentative and constantly stating opinion as fact. It took 8 posts as a new member for him to be argumentative, repetitive and generally difficult (Elegant Escape reference was a dead giveaway), which shows why he is really here. Good riddance
                              Seconded.

                              Thanks Kev.

He wants further. It was highly likely he was going to be outpaced and that became a practical certainty after he front ran and raced the way he did. Went out quickly so hopefully nothing is wrong. I still think he's a live player in the RSA. Would I take 14/1, probably not, but then I have 40's so all good.
